hackintosh_builder
Hello, since Apple does not use Nvidia GPU anymore, I am considering to purchase a laptop with the latest Intel i9 CPU and Nvidia GPU (1050, 1060, 1070 or 1080). Ideally, I hope to make it triple boots (Mac OS, Windows and Linux). As of today, can this be done easily? Allan
If the laptop comes with Optimus technology, you'll able to use only Intel HD. hackintosh_builder
Some manufacturers such as Dell have already announced their i9 laptop with Nvidiai GPU. I am waiting for Lenovo and HP to make the announcement. So, I should wait for them and make a possible purchase decision by eliminating those with Optimus technology. Then, check with the forum to see if the components are supported? Yes, when other users got this same hardware.
