xeroendo
I want to migrate over to an SSD drive instead of the normal laptop drive I have now. I've tried cloning the drives, but keep getting errors regarding UEFI boot. When I enter the BIOS to select the EFI boot option, it freezes when I click on the "browse" option and open the EFI folder. I ended up just running the install again from scratch instead of doing a clone from here: After the second reboot during the install, though, the computer once again asks for the UEFI option. It seems that no matter what I do, the hard drive is formatted as an APFS instead of HFS+. Is there anything that I need to do to get this to boot correctly? MARZILLO
if you used carbon cloner then you have to install clover on the new disk .... carbon cloner makes a clone of the disk but does not copy the efi
