Elian
Hi Guys, I was trying to install OSx86 in my Inspiron 1150 but at the moment of graphical instalation display becomes grayscale and it works in a fuzzy way. I have read in some places that solution is 'change video ram in BIOS from 1mb to 8mb'. Maybe this is a _real_ newbie question, but i cant find 'video ram' option in my BIOS. I have the latest version (A07) and i'm wondering what i'm doing wrong. Any help will be appreciated :-) Thanks, Elian.
Danyel
Hi Ellian: I have the same problem with my Dell Inspiron 1150. This is the reason I'm stuck with 10.4.1 on this laptop (dual boot with Windows XP). My desktop PC (MSI mPC) is running 10.4.5 with full SSE3 support (iTunes 7, et all). If anyone knows how to resolve, please let us know. --Danyel
awaddon
Danyel Does your dual boot 10.4.1 and XP give you colour? If so, howd you do it!, I would be happy just not to have greyscale! Andy
Danyel
Hi awaddon: Dual boot with XP and OSx86 10.4.1 works fine and colour is fine. I installed OSx86 10.4.1 early last year when it first came out using Deadmoo's image. Now I hardly use because all my machines have 10.4.6 which implements Rosetta and Universal Support much better. I'm still searching for a way to install 10.4.6 on the Inspiron 1150. --danyel
