hondafanboy
I switched to Intel, after getting tired of the poor performance of the Nvidia webdriver. I enjoyed being on Intel graphics for maybe a weekend at best, before the security update came out Monday. Now I'm stuck using my Nvidia graphic card, because it appears MacOS crashes when it tries to boot the graphics on Intel. I tried alot of different things before creating this post. I just think the whole thing is odd, however this is my first time using anything other then Nvidia graphics. Is this normal after an update, is anyone else having this issue? Here is what worked for me before the update: -disablegfxfirmware ig-platform-id: 0x59120000 IntelGraphicsFixup.kext, Lilu.kext Inject Intel (resolved the issue with MacOS displaying the graphics as a "KBL" card) I also attached my EFI folder to this post Note - I have "Lilu.kext" installed under L/E, moving it, or any other kext related to this issue. doesn't appear to make a difference. Any help would be appreciated... ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX CODE | i7-7700K | 1080Ti EVGA Hybrid 11GB EFI.zip

hondafanboy
I tried that... using that ID causes the machine to reboot instead of crash...
