Hi folks,

Regarding updates for Snow Leopard, I've got the 10.6.8 Update v.1.1 - There are other updates after 10.6 - Is it important to have these incremental updates? - OR - Does 10.6.8 incorporate ALL updates after 10.6 into one big update that is called 10.6.8? - Thanks

Just looking at some of these updates - 10.6.5 is 900 MB+ and is bigger than 10.6.8

I've since read the difference between an update and a combo update.

The 10.6.8 Combo is 1.09 GB +/- whilst all the incremental updates from 10.6.1 thru 10.6.8 is greater than 1.09 GB - Is there anything to be gained OS wise from all the incremental updates versus going from 10.6 - 10.6.8 Combo?

Maybe some things most people won't need such as support for devices ? - Just a query -  :)

The same files may have been updated in each version which would make the files larger as it would be essentially duplicated if you added all of the updates together. Doing a combo update is ideal because then you get all of the changes in one clean package.
