After restoring a clone of High Sierra using Carbon Copy Cloner with I believe the EFI partition also cloned the system worked as it should including shutdown and awake from sleep but when rebooted I always got the message screen that the system improperly shut down and offers to report to Apple--the installation from which the clone was made always shut down properly. This annoying behavior persisted after upgrading to Mojave but again everything (network, Audio, USB 3, awake from sleep etc) works as it should as far as I am concerned and the system is very stable. The hardware is basically i76700k, GB AMD 580, Asus Maximus Hero VIII, 16gb RAM. I attached the config.plist presuming that is where the problem lies. I would appreciate any insights from those more knowledgeable than moi.
I have High Sierra 10.13.6 installed on a Gigabyte h360m d3h, an i3 8100 processor and a GeForce GTX 760.
I'm having some issues with sleep, shutdown and reboot not working correctly, this is what happens:
Sleep: the machine restarts
Shutdown: the OS appears to not be running but the machine is left on
Restart: the same as shutdown
Everything else (audio, video, usb) appears to be working correctly.
I have successfully gotten my Hackintosh working 99 percent. The remaining issue that I am running into is that my system will randomly kernel panic upon a user issued shutdown or reboot WHEN I have either a usb sound card or usb headset plugged into any of my USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.0). If I remove the headset, it will power down with no issues. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My system is as follows: MacOS 10.14 Mojave Gigabyte H370 HD3 8400 i5 Coffee Lake Radeon RX 580 sound card
I have the internal audio disabled. I have also attached my config.plist file.
Hello everyone, can you guys help me with some issues of my new hackintosh? I'm running MacOs High Sierra 10.13.6 in my computer (Asus Prime H270-Plus, i5 7400, GTX 1050ti) and i have some issues; 1-ShutDown doesn't work (black screen with a spinning circle and it doesn't shut down). Same thing with sleep 2-System definition is iMac (Retina 5K, 27inch, late 2015), but it must be late 2017 (kaby-lake cpu) 3-Got an issue with my new mouse (logitech mx master 2s): for some reasons i can't use custom keys (keystroke). I've searched on the internet and i figure out that it may be some app-conflict 4-My TP-Link TL-WN881ND v2 isn't working. I tried to configure out but it seems not working. Now i'm using an ASUS USB-N13 and it working, but i've spent 16 euros for this card and i want it to work (without kernel panics)
5-I noticed that the cpu-fan runs in a strange way. It it runs steadily, but sometimes the speed increases slightly. Do i need to install cpu-sensor.kext?
Everything else is working like a charm and i'm very proud of my 3-weeks spent to make it work.
For future upgrade (like new ssd or nwme, because i'm running on an 120gb Sandisk SSD), have i only to paste the actual EFI folder in to my new bootable USB?
Anybody can help me? Here is my config.plist
