I managed to install Mojave on my MSI GP62-6QE laptop with somewhat success. The only annoying thing left is that everytime I shut it down it seemingly kernel panics and I get the "Your computer has restarted because of a problem" at startup.
I tried many different things such as removing emuvariablesuefi64, checking FixShutdown in CloverConfig but it seems the NVRAM is causing this issue.
I have deleted the nvram file from the EFI partition but it seems stuck somewhere else, I can't clear out the nvram from the terminal or in single user mode as it returns a "Not permitted" error.
Clearing out the nvram by pressing F11 at the boot menu screen works however.
I install hackintosh Catalina 10.15.4, I need some help:
If I shut down my Hackintosh, it will reboot.
If I sleep my Hackintosh, it never wakes up until I force to reboot it or shutdown it.
Can you help me to solve this problem?
Last week I had an intempestive shutdown and couldn't start again ( error allocationpages 0X000.... type2). By mistake I upgraded the bios and had to downgrade it again.
It solve the error allocationpages 0X000 problem.
and I can reboot with my system SSD (I worked with for 2 years with any problem since the error allocationpages 0X000)
but now I cannot shutdown. (See attachment) It seems I had a problem with the NVMe implantation but I don't know how to resolve it.
I didn't change any configuration. I just format the NVM after my (error allocationpages 0X000). I had this NVMe SSD before and it is not the disk system.
Hi! So I've successfully built my rig and installed Mac os
Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi
Intel Core i7 9700k
Ballistix Sport 32gb
Samsung evo 500gb nv
Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Pulse
The thing is that I got it running perfectly, even performed some heavy video renderings with no problem but sometimes it just restarts on its own, sometimes when I'm using Chrome, sometimes when I'm editing or whatever other task. Last time it happened I got the forbidden sign on the screen so I tried to boot up again using the -v flag and I got the "Couldn't allocate runtime area" message, which is very strange because I had no problems in booting up the system after I made my configurations in the config.plist
Please someone give me some help with this problem, I'm completly stucked!!
