HaDAk
Hey all. I'm new to osx86, but not new to osx. My system specs are as follows: Asus A8N-SLI nVidia 6600GT PCIe 1gb ram AMD64 3200+ 160gb SATA boot drive for windows 2x 80gb ata drives (unused) The problem i'm having is, after installation if i don't manually press the restart button (in setup) it will sit and spin infinately. If i do press the button, it will (i booted with the -v paramater) drop to a console and say MACH reboot. If it DOES reboot the kernel, it doesn't tell me so, and it doesn't appear to be doing anything. I hit the restart button, and after my computer came up, it didn't detect the drive i just installed to. I installed the patch for nf4 sata motherboards and such...why is it not working? Thanks
joe75
What install DVD are you using and what packages did you choose when customizing
HaDAk
I'm using the JaS 10.4.6 dvd, and i chose the SSE2 for AMD, the wireless support, and nf4 sata support. i think that's it, but i can't be sure unless i reboot to the cd and write down the exact options i had avaliable. joe75
If your video card is not under a ATiX1000 series, try JaS 10.4.7 AMD/Intel, it has packages for nForce4. Then add JaS 10.4.8 SEE2 AMD update
