kjur
i have just installed a new system. i did everything like before. the very weird thing is now i can see two screens in my system, but i got just one. system profiler says: Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported SyncMaster: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported there should be just Syncmaster. in display tab in system preferences i have "display", "arrangement" and "color", but have never had the "arangement" before. aldo in "display" i got "gather windows" button, which has never been there before. the problem is when i try to drag some windows outside the main desktop it shows some stipes on the main one. the second has to stay in 1024x768 mode, but anyway i got just one dvi output. i got s-video, but i don't think so it may be this one. does anyone know how to switch the second screen off? i used the same install disk and the same macvidia drivers as before.... the system is Jas 10.4.6 install disc (i will patch it to 10.4.7 and then to 10.4.8 with old kernel tomorrow morning) + macvidia 1.0.8. graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 6200 AGP
kjur
SOLVED the IONDRVSupport.kext needs to be deleted from Extensions folder. I don't know why it hasn't been done by macvidia installer.
