I am planning on updating my core to the nebukadnezar by Semthex, but I'm unclear about the faq. In the faq it leads to instructions for installation on an AMD system, not Intel. Do I still follow those instructions? They are as follows:

Remove AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement.kext, copy a downloaded file which includes kexts to the System/Library/Extensions folder, and copy IOATAFamily.kext, from 10.4.7, to the same folder. As well as copying AppleSMBIOS.kext from the link to the same folder as well. Then repair permissions and install kernel.

Is that it? I'm a noob at this and want to make sure I am following the correct instructions for replacing files. And, do I need to do anything with IOKit.framework, as I read in one post, or remove extensions.kextcache & extensions.mkext, as well, as read in another post?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Well, can't say for sure, but my system is Intel P4 based and I followed those instructions quite closely as I installed 3 partitions on my system (Repair, Production & Test). All three run quite well. I don't think you can go far wrong if you stay with the instructions.

Good luck.
