This is a continuation of the thread here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310187-ga-x99-gaming-5p-10112-success-waterdragon/page-2

Current config:

GA-X99-Gaming 5P

    - Atheros 2200e  Network Card

    - Creative Core3D Sound Card (CA0132)

Intel Core i7-6900K @ 3.7 Ghz

32 GB RAM - 2133 MHz

N760 2GD5/OC ITX (MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760)

GTX 1080 (not installed yet)

1x4K Dell display, 1x2K Dell Display , 1xFHD TV

Lots of HDDs and SSDs

BIOS settings:

EHCI hands-off Enabled

XHCI hands-off Enabled

BOOT settings set to Other OS , UEFI only

No DSDT installed.

After a few days of tinkering around I've managed to get most stuff working.

Things that still need tweaking:

- shut down sometimes doesn't work  fixed by using SMBIOS 14,2

- sound card is not working  - fixed by installing DRAM and DSDT drop tables options in Clover

Only issue so far: Front microphone port is not working.

Got everything going fine for now.

At the end will post my Clover EFI file.

Hello mate..

Works your USB 3 ?

can u please upload your clover folder ?

here it is: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4je78hsy6600hwm/EFI%20v3.zip

Keep in mind I don't have Realtek Audio, but Creative and different GPU. My GPU has native MacOS support. I also use SMBIOS 14,1 not 6,1 .

Hard to say.

All back USB ports work but probably not as they should. The front USB ports I can't verify because I don't have the front panel connected.

They are probably working not as they should because of this:

The USB receivers are actually on USB 2.0 ports. https://www.mediafire.com/file/439m0efc2d3g1ym/Screen%20Shot%202017-10-01%20at%2010.47.09.png

I initially only had the X99_Injector USB 3.kext and added the USBX99.kext later , but the later kext doesn't seem to make a difference.

If you have any clue on these two kexts let me know.

Right now I am looking for a fix for my Creative CA132 audio and maybe some other Gigabyte Specific SSDT/DSDT patched to improve system stability.

This is the final version of Clover settings:

- This is only for MacOS 10.13

- I am using the 6900K 8 core cpu so for a different CPU you will need to make the appropriate changes

- note I am using GTX 760 video card, so you may need to remove the NVIDIA patch from the ACPI/patched folder.

- you will need to run the appropriate patches and changes for your video card to work

Please read this thread for how to adapt this Clover file to your video card and cpu, provided you use the same motherboard:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/the-perfect-customac-pro-macos-high-sierra-10-13-on-x99-full-success.227001/

Everything seems to be working fine except for the Front Sound Panel. Sound on the back ports is working fine.

will the gtx 770 work with high sierra?

Yes it will. It has the same GK104 chipset as the GTX 760. Careful with the SMBios though, I've tried with 16,1 initially and the video card did work well with that one, works well with 14,2 and possibly with 6,1 , haven't tried any other.

Thank you bro,

i will try in my different motherboard and I will let you know

EHCI hands-off Enabled

XHCI hands-off Enabled

BOOT settings set to Other OS , UEFI only

I am on High Sierra too and everything seems to be working fine for me. I would suspect it's something in your Clover settings.

Thanks for the build info!

Have you upgraded to 10.13.3 yet?

How is sleep and wake working? Any tweaks needed or works on? How many cycles of sleep/wake have you tested? Thanks!
