Rammjet Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 Your first problem is that you are using a non-existent OSX: 10.8.6. When you start the installation, did you go to the Utilities menu and select Disk Utility? If your hard drive is SATA, OSX only supports Intel and VIA SATA controller chips. If your motherboard has a different SATA controller chip, then OSX probably can't work with it. In that case, find a PATA hard drive. A 20 GB PATA hard drive can be found for next to nothing.
