Paprika
After following [THIS GUIDE] and adding some additional params to the boot file for resolution, I rebooted OSx and when I goto my desktop I seen two new Hard Drives avalible. 1 being my 250GB Fully-NTFS Storage drive, and the other being 1 of 2 NTFS WinXP paritions from my primary hard drive. What makes this so complicated is: 1) They're NTFS and as I understood it, OSx Could only read from NTFS drives. 2) They're both nForce 4 SATA drives! As I understood it, not only was there no SATA support for nForce4, but attempting to use the VIA Method approved for nForce3 & 2 could result in curropted data on an nForce 4 SATA drive. So given that they're NTFS and on what I believed to be an UNSUPPORTED SATA controller, I need to know if it is safe for me to navigate/explore and basically read files/play music/play video back from them or if I should immediately look into proventing them from being mounted/automounted again. Thanks in advance for your time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32619-selected-nf4-sata-ntfs-partitionsdrives-automounted-scared/ Share on other sites
