fabuffm
Hey folks, i got a stable hack with 10.9.3 (Mavericks) and need an immediate update to 10.12. because my Adobe apps wont work with 10.9. anymore. No i really tried everything what i know, to get this thing updated. Nothing really worked, i cant get through to the install. My System: • ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS (dual xeon platform - only one cpu used) • Xeon E5-2680v2 10x2,8Ghz • 32 GB 1600mhz DDR3 • GTX770 4GB Now i bought a new 500GB SSD to install Sierra 10.12.6 and tried the following: • Formatted 8GB USB -> GUID Mac journaled • Downloaded OSX from the Appstore (on my Macbookpro) • Installed OSX with terminal: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app • After installed OSX on the USB Stick, i open Clover -> for EFI and choose two drivers from drivers64efi (screenshot) • Then edited the config.plist one the EFI/CLOVER • Added fakesmc (newest version) into EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12 • BIOS settings modified (VT-D disabled, etc. like in my working Mavericks hack) • Booted the stick -> -v Stuck at: PCI Configuration begin (Screenshot) I added my old smbios.plist from my mavericks system, maybe you need this? Please can u help me get this to work? Thx in advance, fabu config.plist.zip

manumental
I'm on a different machine at the moment, but my Z9PE is running well at 10.12.5. This board is very picky about PCI locations, try to plug your GPU in slot 5 and make sure to add the "npci=0x2000" or "npci=0x3000" boot argument to Clover.
fabuffm
On slot 5 i dint get any picture... i got my GFX card in Lane 3 normally (working with 10.9.) Slot 4 got a picture. Do i need to check all slots and try to get to the installer? I booted with: -v npci=0x3000 PCIRootUID=1 (fail) -v npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1 (fail) -v acpi=off npci=0x3000 PCIRootUID=1 (fail) -v npci=0x3000 (fail) -v npci=0x2000 (fail) -v nvda_drv=1 (fail) -v nvda_drv=1 dart=0 npci=0x2000 (fail)

Any recommendations for a system that is easy to unstall with sierra at the moment ? I need a lot of power because i am editing 4k - 6k video footage (Adobe Suite)

fabuffm
If this thing is really working, maybe i need a 2nd one (little less expensive). Do you know if the 16 Core Xeon is also working?
fabuffm
I followed your link and it seems to be very difficult. I need a solution that works out of the box. Do you know which cpu and mainboard i could use?
