Hi,

i'm getting animations lag with the latest version of WhateverGreen and Mojave. The system is usable but animations sometimes are < 20 fps.

System report recognizes the iGPU:

This issue isn't present on High Sierra: if i try to boot with the exact EFI folder to High Sierra everything works as expected.

On High Sierra the system report shows Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily1 v3 instead of Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily2 v1.

I'm using WhateverGreen on my MacBook Pro 15" 2014 with GeForce 850 as it fixes slow performance on this MacBook. Until version WhateverGreen 1.2.3 and Lilu 1.2.7 everything works just fine, but after I upgraded to latest versions of Lilu and WhateverGreen to latest version (1.3.1 and 1.2.6) I got kernel panic and reboot.

What changed and can it be fixed for MacBook?

Thanks.

I run some tests. I can work with latest version of Lilu, but latest version of WhateverGreen that I can boot with is 1.2.4.

There must be something new in lastest versions that break functionality on Apple MacBook.

BTW. its MacBookPro11,3 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB not 850 like I mentioned.

My system:

Motherboard: Asus Prime H370-Plus

CPU: i3-8100

OS: 10.14.2

I have used the latest debug version of lilu+WEG and tried to dump framebuffer using the following:

but it didn't dump anyhting on root of boot device or I can't even import anything using FB-Pather's IOReg Dump Menu.

When I looked into my ioreg I found it didn't load framebuffer at all. it looks like this:

Anyone?

Hello Everyone

I have Dell Optiplex 9020 i5 4750 with HD4600 Graphics. I install Mojave 10.14.2 successfully and it is working and boots but I have problem with HD4600 Graphics, I am not getting Graphics acceleration. its showing only 6mb memory. Monitor is connect using the Displayport to VGA Converter. I have Lilu and Whatevergreen kexts installed in L/E. A day before I got full Graphics acceleration as well as sleep and wakeup was working perfectly. Yesterday morning when I rebooted it started to reboot by itself. I am able to boot it using invalid ig-platform-id:0x0E0000000 but don't get acceleration.

Here is the setting in config file

- config.plist/Graphics/Inject/Intel=true
- config.plist/Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x0d220003
- config.plist/Graphics/VBios=true
- config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0x0

With Mojave I think it's good idea to replace -wegnoegpu with wegnoegpu=(all|nvidia|amd) at least for now.

I found -cdfon or hdmi-20 must use SIP(Allow Unrestricted FS) or it will not work.

But with classic CDF kexts dont need use this SIP(Allow Unrestricted FS).

Thanks for the report. I confirm the issue. Will fix when I get free time.

This one is false though, they also need it (or they do not work at all).

One suggestion for the development of Whatevergreen:
It would be great if Shiki would be extended with support for AppleVPA.framework. This would make it easier to fix issues with jpeg preview in quick look and preview on Mojave. The framework has hardcoded values for choosing the renderer and forces the IGPU for VPA (Video Picture Acceleration) on SMBIOSes that use Quick Sync. If no IGPU is present it will kill VPA. It's the same mechanism as the DRM issues due to hardcoded values in AppleGVA.framework that Shiki does fix.

I know about this Kext. The problem with it is that it disables VPA instead of being a solution for the issue. Extending WEG with AppleVPA patching would be a better solution for those using a card that supports picture acceleration.

WhateverGreen already has this built-in.

// Aside generic DRM unlock patches, which are always on, Shiki also provides a set of patches
	// to workaround various issues with hardware video acceleration support.
	// These are set as a shikigva boot-arg bitmask.
	// For example, to enable ForceOnlineRenderer, ExecutableWhitelist, and ReplaceBoardID
	// you sum 1 + 8 + 32 = 41 -> and pass shikigva=41.
	enum ShikiGVAPatches {
		// Remove forceOfflineRenderer from AppleGVA Info.plist.
		// This is required to allow hardware acceleration on several mac models with discrete GPUs
		// when only IGPU is available.
		// See /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleGVA.framework/Resources/Info.plist for more details.
		ForceOnlineRenderer        = 1,
		// Remve hweBGRA from AppleGVA Info.plist.
		// hweBGRA is not supported by NVIDIA GPUs, so the patch is sometimes required when using NVIDIA
		// in a mac model meant to be used with AMD or Intel.
		// See /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleGVA.framework/Resources/Info.plist for more details.
		AllowNonBGRA               = 2,
		// Prior to 10.13.4 certain GPU+CPU combinations were not meant to provide hardware acceleration and had to be patched.
		// The overall problematic configuration list is: NVIDIA+BDW, NVIDIA+SKL, NVIDIA+KBL, AMD+IVB, NVIDIA+SNB.
		// Enabled automatically if shikigva is *NOT* passed on 10.13.3 and earlier. All are fixed in 10.13.4.
		ForceCompatibleRenderer    = 4,
		// Unlike 10.12.6 without security updates and earlier, on 10.13 and latest 10.12.6 AppleGVA patches
		// do not apply to all processes, and each process needs to be patched explicitly. This is a bug
		// in Lilu, which needs to be explored and fixed. For now this bit ensures that the processes present
		// in WHITELIST section of Patches.plist will definitely get the fixes even on 10.13 and 10.12.6.
		// On 10.12.6 and 10.13 this must be used if any of the following bits are used:
		// - ForceOnlineRenderer
		// - AllowNonBGRA
		// - ForceCompatibleRenderer
		// - ReplaceBoardID
		// - FixSandyBridgeClassName
		// It is enabled automatically on 10.12 and 10.13 if shikigva is *NOT* passed and ForceCompatibleRenderer or
		// FixSandyBridgeClassName are automatically enabled.
		AddExecutableWhitelist     = 8,
		DisabledUnused16           = 16,
		// Replace board-id used by AppleGVA by a different board-id.
		// Sometimes it is feasible to use different GPU acceleration settings from the main mac model.
		// By default Mac-27ADBB7B4CEE8E61 (iMac14,2) will be used, but you can override this via shiki-id boot-arg.
		// See /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleGVA.framework/Resources/Info.plist for more details.
		ReplaceBoardID             = 32,
		// Attempt to support fps.1_0 (FairPlay 1.0) in Safari.
		// This should technically fix some very old streaming services in Safari, which rely on FairPlay DRM
		// similar to the one found in iTunes. Newer streaming services require FairPlay 2.0, which is hardware-only,
		// so nothing could be done about them.
		// Another way to enable this is to pass -shikifps boot argument.
		UnlockFP10Streaming        = 64,
		DeprecatedUnused128        = 128

Did anybody else lost IGP after installing 10.14.4 beta? My discrete VGA is working like a champ but I had to disable IGP on BIOS to go past KP. Booting recovery, using an invalid graphics id and/or invalidating/creating new kernel cache did not helped at all. Only missing feature (I noticed) is the display mirroring option.

Mojave 10.14.4 Beta 18E174f, Lilu 1.3.1, WhateverGreen 1.2.6, Clover 4862

Yes, I have the same KP with IGP enable. Tryed different framebuffers,but without luck.

Hi,

just a small suggestion (that is may useful for at least some Ozmosis users).

My motherboard comes with VGA, DVI, HDMI and DP.

In use are DVI, HDMI and DP and I like to patch the framebuffer from DP-DP-DP to HDMI-HDMI-DP

so I put "igfxskipdp=3" to my boot-args.

WhateverGreen versions higher than v.1.2.4 that have the Backlight Brightness changes breaks using IntelBacklight or ACPIBacklight. Some of us must use these older kexts (along with Bergdesign's Brightness app) for enabling brightness because our hardware do not expose IGPU PWM registers.

I tried using applbkl=0 and also -wegoff but it doesn't help. I must remove WEG for my brightness to work. Can we fix that?

Also, for some of us who have Arrandale Intel 1st Gen Graphics, and use the KextsToPatch or statically pre-patched AppleIntelHDGraphics* kexts from High-Sierra or earlier, is there any use of WhateverGreen. If yes, what is the corresponding config.plist section we need to add for WEG. I'm asking this because per the thread

https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334899-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen/

I don't understand what should I add for Intel 1st Gen.

Hi, thank you all for this amazing graphics kext.

My question is that in https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md#intel-hd-graphics-610-650-kaby-lake-processors, since 0x59160000 (mobile, 3 connectors, no fbmem, 35 MB) is a mobile platform, why 59160000 is recommended for desktop not laptop? I am using UHD620 by the way, finding the proper platform for my graphics. Thanks for any help.

Also I already followed the guide for Intel 1st Gen Graphics device and using pre-patched framebuffers from High-Sierra. So in this condition i want to ask is there any other reason for using WEG? And if yes, my concern is that latest WEG breaks Intel/Acpi backlight kexts even when using applbkl=0 or even -wegoff

  • Specify injector IOProbeScore (in injector Info.plist) equal to 5500

But why to you WEG on 1 generation? )

WEG does not support 1 generation.

So that's exactly was my question. Is there any use of WEG for Intel 1st Gen Graphics? And you are saying "No".

So any protected video playback fixes (inherited from Shiki) or fixing second stage boot glitch etc. are not applicable or not performed by WEG when using Intel 1st Gen Graphics. Is that a correct statement?

      Replaced the stock Intel Core i5 4300M 2.6Ghz (3.3Ghz turbo) 6M cache with Intel Core i7 4700MQ 2.4Ghz (3.4Ghz turbo) 6MB.
      I initially had problems with overheating. The processor ran at full load above 90 degrees.
      After using a quality thermal paste I can work between 70 and 80 degrees.
      Acceptable taking into consideration that the new processor has 47TDP versus 37TDP which is recommended.
      I also had no problem consuming the battery while charging. The original 65W source seems to have figured out.

      - Touchpad upgrade:
      Replaced the stock with T460 touchpad.
      This is serious: you have to do it! It should be stock. Touchpad with precision and absurd quality!
      Just do it!

      - RAM upgrade:
      No mistery here. Just upgade.

      Todo

      - Make DP audio work.
      - Make Card Reader work.
      - Upgrade CPU to i7-4712MQ (Ordered. It's on the way) Done, but received i7-4700MQ (47w TDP, with good paste I have no overheating)
      - Replace touchpad with T460 model (Ordered. It's on the way) Done. Sensitivity and perception of quality much better. I recommend 100%!
      - Sierra Gobi5000 4G LTE modem EM7355 (Ordered. It's on the way. I hope works. ) Done, but not work. Recognize but not connect. I already gave up...
      - Upgrade to 16GB RAM Done
      - Make trackpad appear in System Preferences

      Wifi and Bluetooth (DW1560 / BCM94352Z)

      Unfortunately, some notebook manufacturers are currently blocking the replacement of wireless cards. They want you to only use the models sold by them. And of course, none of them from Lenovo for this notebook model is compatible with MacOS.

      If you try to start with an unauthorized wifi card for them, you will receive a screen error:
      1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card. Since this check is done directly in the BIOS, the only solution is to modify it.
      But since nothing is easy in this life, there is one small big problem:
      - The BIOS update procedure does not allow you to use modded files as it used to be.
      - You will need to physically reach your BIOS on the motherboard and make use of a USB BIOS reader/writer.

      So what you need to do:
      1. Disassembly your laptop;
      2. Dump your BIOS with an USB BIOS reader with SOIC8 clip (to not desolder from the motherboard);
      3. Patch it (In addition to removing the whitelist, add the advanced menu);
      4. Fix RSA signature;
      5. Reflash BIOS;
      6. Replace wireless card;
      7. Remount your laptop;
      8. Done.

      Soon, I'll provide step by step in this process. Probably until end of this week.
      In the meantime, if you need to, send me your dump that I do steps 3 and 4 for you.
      I also add the Advanced Menu so you can increase to 128MB the DRAM-prealloc.

      To fix a Modded BIOS to remove the 5 beeps on boot, you need this guide: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/337333-guide-fix-insyde-h2o-bios-signature-5-beeps-on-lenovo (traduzido: pt-BR)

      After replaced the wireless card. Download those Kexts and put in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/

      - Download the AirportBrcmFixup.kext from here. I used the version 2.0.0.
      - Download the BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext from here. I used the version 2018-0505.
      - Download the BT4LEContinuityFixup.kext from here. I used the version 1.1.2.

      Now you can start the instalation without problem (I guess).

      How install

      UEFI Setup Configuration and Installation

      UEFI configuration

      My BIOS is the latest: 1.93 (J4ET93WW)

      - Shutdown and insert the flash drive.
      - Power on with F1 pressed to enter BIOS setup.
      - Change value: Config - Intel(R) AMT - Intel(R) AMT Control to DISABLED
      - Change value: Security - Security Chip to DISABLED
      - Change value: Security - Anti-Theft - Intel(R) AT Module Activation to DISABLED
      - Change value: Security - Anti-Theft - Computrace to DISABLED
      - Change value: Security - Secure Boot to DISABLED
      - Change value: Startup - UEFI/Legacy Boot to BOTH, Legacy First and CSM Support = Yes
      - Save & Exit Setup (F10)

      - Now, hold the F12
      - In the list, select your flash drive.

      The installer will start.

      Format destination disk

      Format the disk with GUID partition mapping and name it "Macintosh".

      - Select Disk Utility in the list, then press Continue.
      - Click in View, then "Show All Devices".
      - Select the destination Disk, then Erase.
      - Name: HD, Format: APFS and Scheme: GUID Partition Map

      Close Disk Utility.

      Select "Install macOS", then Continue.
      Follow instructions in screen.

      After install

      After first part install the system will reboot. Maybe you have to press F12 again and select the flash drive.

      The second part of the installation will begin. This will take 16 minutes.

      Post installation

      Install bootloader

      When the second part of install finish, the system will reboot again.

      After performing the user initial setup and go to the desktop, you need to install Clover on internal disk.

      Open the Clover installer inside flash drive that you copied before.

      Use same options above but choose the system partition this time.

      Now you need to replace the EFI folder inside your destination disk EFI parittion, with EFI folder inside flash card EFI partition.

      If the flash drive EFI partition of your destination disk or flash drive is unmounted:
      Mount with terminal "sudo diskutil mount /dev/rdiskXs1". To know what X is, use "diskutil list", most likely is 0 for destination disk and 1 for flash drive.

      Then, eject the flash drive.

      Last step

      Move all Kexts from EFI partition to /Library/Extensions, with those commands in Terminal:
      sudo mv -R /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/* /Library/Extensions/ sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions sudo kextcache -i / Restart the system.

      It's done!

      Updates

      System update 10.14.3

      - Updated with success;
      - Everything works perfectly after reboot;

      System update 10.14.4

      - Updated Clover to 4910.
      - Updated Lilu.kext to 1.3.5 and WhateverGreen to 1.2.7.
      - After first reboot the update progress stoped with:
      GTrace synchronization point 4 Unsupported CPU Unsupported PCH hmm.. mismatch sizes: 3100 vs 20 It was still possible to start the previous installation, selecting "Macintosh" as opposed to "macOS Install" in Clover.
      So I created a flash drive with Clover 4910 and put only my config.xml, SSDT-L440.aml, the updated Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext. And I decided to test VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC.kext.
      With this I was able to install update 10.14.4. After installation I can boot normally, even with FakeSMC.kext that already in /Library/Extensions.
      I do not know what exactly happened, but now works everything like was previously.

      System update 10.14.5

      - Updated Clover to 4934.
      - Updated Lilu.kext to 1.3.6 and WhateverGreen to 1.2.9.
      - After first reboot the update progress stoped again (like 10.14.4 update) with:
      GTrace synchronization point 4 Unsupported CPU Unsupported PCH hmm.. mismatch sizes: 3100 vs 20 It was still possible to start the previous installation, selecting "Macintosh" as opposed to "macOS Install" in Clover.
      I decided to rollback to FakeSMC.kext but this time with the version of HWSensors 3. Link above.
      With this I was able to install update 10.14.5. After installation I can boot normally.

      System update 10.14.6

      - Updated Clover to 5097.
      - Updated Lilu.kext to 1.3.8 and WhateverGreen to 1.3.3.
      - Make system update.

      And last but not least

      - Connectors:
      1x SD Card Reader 2x USB 3.0 (1x USB Charging), 1x USB 2.0 1x VGA 1x HDMI 1x 3.5mm microphone/audio combined jack connector 1x Ethernet (Rj-45) - Keyboard & Touchpad: Multi-Touch & Multi-gestures ELAN 501 Touchpad, Backlight Keyboard.
      Working:
      - Wi-Fi (with BCM94352Z)
      - Bluetooth hand-off (With BCM94352Z)
      - Full Graphics enabled on HD 530: ig-platform-id: 0x191b0000 (HD 530 Mobile)
      - Display: if default colour profile is corrupted (blue is not actual blue but purplish) Use "Rec. ITU-R BT. 709-5" Color Profile (System Pref. -> Displays -> Color)
      - HDMI & VGA Outputs: AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext Clover patch
      - Audio (ALC 255): (Internal Speakers, Internal Microphone, Headphone jack with AppleALC, ALCPlugFix -> layout-id=17)
      - Ethernet Realtek 8168/8111: RealtekRTL8111.kext
      - App Store, Messages, FaceTime, Siri, iCloud (native)
      - Integrated webcam (native)
      - 3.0 USB (native)
      - Touchpad and Keyboard (ELAN501): Fn keys are good, the weird thing is the Brightness key. On my keyboard it's Pause Break:Br-up, Fn+F12:Br-dwn-> To fix this try Karabiner (VoodoPS2Controller.kext), - for gestures try SmartTouchpad drivers
      - Battery info: Install ACPIBatteryManager.kext with Kext Utility or other installer.
      - Sleep Mode
      - SSD with TRIM enabled (to enable trim, open Terminal and write "sudo trimforce enable")
      Not working:
      - Original Wi-Fi (Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA344A):  unsupported, you need switch to BCM94352Z or just use a mini usb wifi dongle.
      - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M: Optimus not supported.
      - Card Reader: Unsupported -> Can't really fix because I don't have any SD Card at the moment, maybe can be fixed by adding Prod & Ven IDs to AppleStorageDevices.kext, I never used it anyway. name: "USB2.0-CRW" Prod ID: "0x0129" Ven ID: "0x0bda  (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.)"
      For Wi-Fi:
      - 1st method: You can choose an external USB wifi dongle (I used TP-Link Archer T1U (5GHz support), TP-Link has official macOS drivers, you just need to install it
      - 2nd and I think the best method: Replace your M.2 Qualcomm Card with a compatible BCM94352Z card (you will have hand-off Bluetooth too), just install the kexts (enabled with BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext, FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, they're all in my attached zip). You could buy this card from ebay, aliexpress, or amazon

      Issues:
      - None
      BIOS Settings:
      - BIOS version 1.15 (irrelevant)
      - Secure Boot: Disabled
      - Touchpad: Advanced
      - Boot mode: UEFI
      Getting ready for Installation:
      - Download the Catalina install zip (bootpack & postinstall): acer_aspire_V591G-55TU_cata.zip
      Installation:
      - Create an installer with any method you know (- Mac: createinstallmedia - Windows: Transmac, Vmware, Win32diskimager)
      - Copy my Clover folder to the USB's EFI folder
      - Boot with the Installer USB
      - If you stuck in boot, reboot and in the Clover bootloader select "config_debug.cfg" -> you'll have more informations about the freeze

      Please open the README.rtf in my install zip for more informations about the USB Installer & Post installation!
      For any system kext installation\modification you need to boot with config_debug.plist (or disable SIP manually)
      Also on Catalina the System folder is read-only, so you need to remount in rw.
      If you have a single RAM and getting panic at boot, then you need to edit the "config.plist" with these (SMBIOS->after "Version 1.0"):
      ->Edit "Frequency" and "Size" to match your RAM values
      <key>Version</key> <string>1.0</string> <key>Memory</key> <dict> <key>Channels</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>SlotCount</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Modules</key> <array> <dict> <key>Slot</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>Size</key> <integer>8192</integer> <key>Frequency</key> <integer>2133</integer> <key>Type</key> <string>DDR4</string> </dict> </array> </dict> </dict>
      PowerManagement  fix:
      Set HWPEnable=YES in Clover (already set), CPUFloor to "700", Frequency to "2300" and "3200"(Normal and Turbo, if you have i7-6700HQ version then it should be "2600", "3500") and "FrequencyVectors" from "0x0d000000" to "0x07000000" in "S/L/E/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/X86PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/Mac-A5C67F76ED83108C.plist", MSR _xcpm_idle Patch to KernelToPatch in Clover (If you have High Sierra, change "MatchOS" to 10.13):

      <key>KernelToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>MSR 0xE2 _xcpm_idle instant reboot(c) Pike R. Alpha</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> ILniAAAADzA= </data> <key>MatchOS</key> <string>10.14</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> ILniAAAAkJA= </data> </dict> </array> Reboot, and it's 800MHz in idle state, same on Windows.

      Elan SmartTouchpad
      I only use scrolling, one-, double- & tripletap
      If you want to try other gestures go to this link for more informations, options (v4.6.5) ->  DETAILS ABOUT THE SMART TOUCHPAD DRIVER FEATURES
      Fn Brightness keys not working with this, tried several things without success. With VoodoPS2Controller it's working, but you'll have no gestures (neither scrolling).

      Before updating to a new version of Catalina please update kexts (and clover if necessary) to newer versions to avoid kernel panics.
      Generate a serial number with Clover Configurator.app (open up your config.plist with CC then -> SMBIOS -> Serial Number -> Generate New)

      Catalina & Windows 10 Dual-Boot:
      Dual-boot clean install (on one drive), UEFI Only:

       Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac),   Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart,  Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install.   Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type:  bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi       5.  You're done! It will booting into Clover when you start the system, and you can select Win or Mac (or another OS if installed on a 3rd partition).

      Dual-boot with Windows installed first (on one drive), UEFI Only:
      If you already have Windows and you don't want to lose all your data there is a hope:
      I created a video from this restore method: [Hackintosh] Dual-Boot High Sierra & Windows - when Windows already installed - no data waste - UEFI
      You need bootable Mac Installer and a full system restore image (link is in my video's description).
      (You may see errors if your EFI partition is not 200 MB)
       Boot into your Windows, resize your partition or create one for Mac.  Boot into your Mac installer and in Disk Utility format the partition you created.  Restore from image: select your full system restore image.  When it's finished restoring you just need to restart, then boot to the system with your usb.  When you successfully booted to Mac desktop, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), open EFI, you will see there is a Microsoft folder already (don't touch that!). Copy my CLOVER folder to the EFI folder then Restart.  Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type:  bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi       7.  You're done! You can select your old Windows and your new macOS!
      (Only tried with Windows 8/8.1/10. I don't know Windows 7,etc.)

      IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING MAC RESTORE:
      - Make sure you have partitions in GPT
      - Windows using 100 MB EFI and will annoy the Mac restore. Don't worry, just ignore the errors.

      IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING WINDOWS INSTALLATION (could not be formatted, etc):
      - Make sure you have GPT partitions, and GPT (UEFI) installer, also disconnect all external storage drives (except the installer USB)

      IF YOU USED RESTORE METHOD THEN CAN'T MOUNT YOUR EFI PARTITION (No EFI partition found):
      - It's because your EFI is not 200 MB or not an "Apple" original EFI,  but do not worry, try another EFI mounter, or mount from terminal (I used EFI mounter v3: Getting errors, but you can mount and use without problem)
      - You also could "mount" the EFI from Windows:
      1st method: open cmd in administrator mode and type:
      diskpart list vol (Now select the "System" volume,(FAT 32) For example I select 4) sel vol 4 list part (Select System type partition, for example 2) sel part 2 assign letter=b (This will "mount" your EFI partition) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI remove letter=b (This will "unmount" your EFI) 2nd method: open cmd in administrator mode and type:
      mountvol b: /s (This will mount your EFI) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI mountvol b: /d (This will unmount your EFI) Thanks to all OSXLatitude members for helping me out! (Jake Lo, Hervé, Bronxteck, black.dragon74)!
