Im update FakeSMC and Sensors that help very much!!! (RehabMan credits).

Im not use anymore Vega_Tab64.kext on "other" folder, so need delete from Clover folders.

Very quiet and have a very Good Performance on Mojave Beta 10. You can check with this Command on Terminal:

ioreg -l |grep \"PerformanceStatistics\" | cut -d '{' -f 2 | tr '|' ',' | tr -d '}' | tr ',' '\n'|grep 'Temp\|Fan'

My values constantly is:

"Fan Speed(%)"=16
"Fan Speed(RPM)"=793
"Temperature(C)"=36

Don't forget the use kext utility and after quit, run this command in terminal:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Aternative you can run after command above, run too RepairPermission command from Olarila.com with reset Nvram on boot and so type "y" to Restart...

(don't worry the clock will back after few reboots)

RepairPermissions.zip

I hope so can help someone!!! ;)

Thank you very much everyone for your great work, I write to you from Spain, and the language is a barrier to follow you, so I ask you in advance to forgive the possible errors of the translator.

I have changed my GTX780 for a Radeon Vega Frontier air cooled, standard, the fan stays fixed at 2000 revolutions. I have installed the utility to modify the table of values, and I understand that these values must be converted, but what I do not understand very well is how to modify the values in the utility.

In my opinion and after doing extensive testing in Windows 10 with Wattman I would like to ask you to make me a profile, since I do not dare to create it in case I messed up.

The profile would be:

-Memory: 945 mV, 1045MHz
-Core: 1150 mV, 1600MHz
-Fan: Minimum revolutions: 600 Maximum revolutions: 3200
-Temperature Objective: 78ºC
-Limit power consumption: + 25%

This profile is tested for hours in Blender with the graphic card at 100% load, for games however for some reason it is not quite right.

I do not know how much work will be done to make one of these profiles, but if it is not much, a second profile could be made by only varying the core voltage to 1120mV.

Greetings.

hi,

found this thread very helpful, but how to activate GPU sensors monitoring on this RX VEGA 64? does anyone here have working sensor with their Vega?

this is my working kext (at least for me), testing using LuxMark, Rise of the tomb raider and Fortnite, no lag, no freeze and no crash...hope will be "fixed" by apple with the final Mojave

You probably mixed different sets. My plugins work with my FakeSMC. You should delete other variants.

Application may be HWMonitorSMC2.app or iStatMenu.app.

Are you try use this Kext: W836.kext?

And use FakeSMC together on Clover folders.

Thanks for reply

First of all i try with your files to take the right thermal sensors, with no lucky.

then I tried with yours modified AMD10000Controller.kext and make some test's.

Looking if work right. On 71c the fans working about 30% and keep the temperature stable 70-72.

If you ask me i would like a little more power on the fans like 45%..

The 30-35% makes me feel a little insecure.

*The temps check them out with this way

*i m on apfs an latest mojave too.

ioreg -l |grep \"PerformanceStatistics\" | cut -d '{' -f 2 | tr '|' ',' | tr -d '}' | tr ',' '\n'|grep 'Temp\|Fan'

Because the Core setting is a bit high for me , I want to test some lower settings.

Could you share how you do this?

Thanks
