AcoQ
Hi everyone! I have a Problem. At first, instead of Downloading Mac OS X PREPATCHED i downloaded the Mac version. Duh! Second, i downloaded Mac OS X 10.4.7 JaS AMD/Intel SSE2, but... its in DMG Format. I really dont want to download again, it took me hours to download the first 2 DVDs, so here is my Question: Is it possible to mount/burn/convert the DMG File in Windows? If not under Windows, is it Possible in Linux (Im using both)? I also have VMWare but i dont know how its working with MacOS since im just using it to emulate Linux for development when im in Windows. greet Christian
wondergod
hate to be the bearer of bad news but i believe the dmg can only be burnt correctly in Os X environment.....gonna have to get the Jas ISO
legg1
If im not completely mistaking, i believe you can mount the drive in VMWare, as the "deadmoo" images was .dmg (shoot me if im wrong) If so you could mount it in vmware, install a xp guest OS And do a Disc-to-Disc copy with Nero Burning Room, selecting Destination as Image Drive. Rammjet
You can try, but the 10.4.7 DMG is a compressed DMG that was unable to be opened using all normal DMG techniques in Windows and Linux.

AcoQ
NO i dont have a real Mac but PearPC and the installation Disk for Mac OS X 10.4.6. It should work fine but PearPC says "cant open bootfile", so no chances. I hate DMG.
