Titan on Toshiba Laptop

So on my toshiba laptop (g35-av600) I can get titan working on my external RGB out, but not on my laptop lid. I have tried both of the EDIDs that moninfo detects and put them in the Info.plist, and still nothing. FBoffset is associated with video card, correct? so since it works perfectly on external monitor, it should be same on my laptop monitor. Any suggestions?

whether it might work or not, just edit info.plist of NVDAResman.kext

open info.plist

find string'GeforceM$GA'

chane it to 'display'

anyone? now using semthex's latest: vv-rc12

Not totally the same problem but I have a similar behaviour on my Toshiba P20 laptop. But in my case I am still running the 8.4.1 kernel so all I can get to work is the external monitor. Whatever I do will leave the laptop panel black (but not totally off). Of course, since I am using the old kernel (I only have SSE2) I don't have QE nor CI too, but Titan enables the drivers since I can change resolutions and even callibrate the external screen.

I suspect that it has something to do with the way the drivers detect the presence of monitors. I am sure this internal panel is very different from external monitors since I had a lot of trouble to get the EDID information from it. It also comes with strange information like 0x0 resolution. It seems that the information is stored in the card's bios instead of the panel itself... I just wished np_ could read this and help us all...
