[pre-release] macOS High Sierra

The app you mentioned is not supported by us, so I can't help you if you choose to use those apps. Please read the rules

You don't need a 3rd party app to create the installer and install macOS anyway.

I suggest you erase the USB disk, create a clean installer using the command I just posted and try again. Double check your Install macOS High Sierra Beta.app and make sure that it is healthy.

Thanks. I updated my comment. Btw resolved

I'm using the last XCode 9 GM release and have the same error - Just opened BuildClover with a text editor and added "XCode9" at the line 34 and it works again.

XCODE="XCODE9" # empty by default, overrides the auto-detected XCODE toolchain, possible values: XCODE32 XCODE5 XCODE8

attachicon.gifbuild_clover_4_5_3.png

or

go to the line 655 and add XCode9 check:

# --------------------------------------
checkXcode () {
if [[ ! -x /usr/bin/gcc ]]; then printError "Xcode clt not found, exiting!\n"; exit 1; fi
if [[ ! -x /usr/bin/xcodebuild ]]; then printError "xcodebuild not found, exiting!\n"; exit 1; fi
# Autodetect the Xcode version if no specific version is set (XCODE) and disable LTO if Xcode is version 7.2.x or earlier
if [[ "$XCODE" == "" ]]; then
	local xcversion=$(/usr/bin/xcodebuild -version | grep 'Xcode' | awk '{print $NF}')
	case "$xcversion" in
		[1-6]* | 7 | 7.[0-2]*) XCODE="XCODE5"; LTO_FLAG="--no-lto";;
		7.[34]*) XCODE="XCODE5";;
		8*) XCODE="XCODE8";;
                9*) XCODE="XCODE9";;
		*) printError "Unknown Xcode version format, exiting!\n"; exit 1;;
	esac
fi
}
# --------------------------------------

Nice workaround (for entering the main menu), but the script won't produce any usable build as such compiler profile (XCODE9) doesn't exist yet.

if you want to install boot with nv_disable=1 or set IGPU as primary and install the macOS, after successful installation you can switch the graphics back to your 1080.

I haven't install high Sierra on my Skylake machine which has a 1070 GPU so I'm not sure about your error.

Have you tried the config.plist that @fabiosun posted?

In latests 10.13 release nv_disable=1 is not working in some rig or clover version

in my case to install I unflag nwidiaweb

nvdrv=1 is also deprecated in sierra

Thanks for the update :) as I said I still haven't migrated from Sierra to High Sierra on my main pc so I'm a bit rusty on the updates and changes :D

if you click on update you can see version installed if you do not know

Have you fixed web driver with your actual 10.13 GM release number?

Nope, I just installed this :

WebDriver-378.05.05.25f01[up_17A315i].pkg

what I do to do?

NVIDIA® WebDriver Updater

search on download section this app and patch according you GM release (17xxxa)

then you have also to verify if your SMBIOS needs policy patch

Search on High Sierra web driver thread and you will find all

      Hi there,

      So I have my Windows computer, used a USB with Clover setup to boot into Mojave OS that I installed on the SD card in the computer. The world was a great place and all was well!

      Then I did the steps to partition the pc system to now include the additional drive that I would put Clover on. Here's where I messed up: Instead of directly copying over the full Clover folder into the EFI folder of the new drive (which just had the Boot & Microsoft folders in it), I replaced the EFI's boot folder with Clover's boot folder. So the EFI folder now contains a Microsoft folder, a Clover folder, and Clover's Boot folder only.

      Now, I only can access the Clover boot up menu, the macOS, but no Windows at all. Even if I go into BIOS and pick Windows Boot Manager or Partition 1 for the start up, I get a black screen for both. I can still access the macOS as well as Shell, but I don't know what that does other than displaying all of the yellow text fly by..

      Is there a kind soul out there that can help me get Windows back to boot? Keep in mind I'm a bit of a newbie here so laying out the common-sense steps would be helpful!

      Thank you in advance!

      Hello everyone,
      I found a guide on how to install Catalina on Lenovo M920q, everything works well but the installation is freezing up.
      The USB bootable drive is a recovery one with internet based installation. The internet is working well on the pre-installation setup (I tested it, when you can use the utilities).
      The installation is freezing whether I am installing the macOS or not.
      I've attached my EFI partition so you can check if there's anything to add.
      Will realy appreciate any kind of help (quit noob to the whole thing).
      Thanks in advance and stay safe!

      NOTE: I did followed up the troubleshooting guide of OpenCore installation forum and the answer was to add the  NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to the kexts and configure it on the .plist file.
      This is the original EFI folder: EFI.zip
      Thats the one with the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext added: EFI.zip
