norcalandrew
Finished installing Yosemite on my Alienware x51 and as soon as I boot into it, it stops and gets stuck on "APRT cannot assert wake from D3cold". No matter if I put it in safe mode, single-user mode, and use different combinations of boot flags I cannot get past it. Can you please help me? SPECS: Intel Core i7 Nvidia GT 545 1GB That's about all the specs I know. I can look into it if you need more specs. Allan
Try boot with your USB install, and rebuild the kernel caches.
