You will need minimum Clover r4084 ! and a SSD drive ( APFS is  too slow on HD )

By the time I wrote that clover 4079 was the latest clover out there, but it wasn't working without adding the Frimware Features, but thanks to clover 4084 we don't need to add firmware feature anymore.

Here is the EFI folder for macOS High Sierra DP

It's still work in progress.

Sound after sleep isn't working even with CodecCommander 2.4.0 in SLE and darkwake = 8.

Maybe somebody can say something about Voodoo and sleep?

Sleep doesn't work on High Sierra?

I believe I tried the sleep once and it was working.

I used the latest version on Lilu.kext and the -lilubeta , -alcbeta boot flags.

I'll test it once more and get back to you.

It doesn't even go to sleep.  :hysterical:

I reinstalled macOS High Sierra yesterday and It's not working.

To be honest I didn't spend much time testing it because my GPU don't work with High Sierra, so I didn't see any point on investing much time and effort on it.

When I last posted, I was having trouble getting my USB 3.0 external drive recognized.

After spending time away from this topic (adopted new pets that stole my attention) I sat down this afternoon to do some troubleshooting.

I tried connecting a variety of Seagate USB 3.0 drives from my collection to the cable - and none of them were recognized.

I then tried moving the cable from the current jack to another 3.0 jack.  This time - it worked.

Looking at the MB manual - it appears I originally had the cable in a 2.0/3.0 jack - which is the 2nd USB port below the ethernet jack.

It's a bit confusing - since the manual shows there is a LAN1 and a LAN2 port, yet my MB only has a single Gig ethernet port.

Now I can finally get a recent timemachine backup.

***

With that issue behind me - I did run into a new one.

I'm not sure I ever tried iBooks prior to today since I installed Sierra (using the original guide) and if I attempt to open a book via IBooks, it APPEARS to launch the book OK - in that the cover is briefly displayed - but then when the book is supposed to open and display your current page - that window is transparent and shows what is beneath it.

There are no controls visible whatsoever for closing the book - but the ones in the menu work fine - which once again, shows the "All Books" view.

I have tried many of the books in my collection - and all display the same way - so it's definitely something wrong with the application, and not the data files.

I've even added a new book - and attempting to open it - results in the usual transparent window effect.

Has anyone else ran into this?

If not - then hopefully this will be fixed when I re-install Sierra.

The NVidia driver manager tells me I am using the latest version.

@strifecrafter

If you have only on LAN port then your mainboard is not GA-Z170X-Gaming 5, It might be Gaming 3, Z170MX-Gaming 5 or Z170N-Gaming 5. Check the layout of the ports on the back panel and see which one matches your mainboard or just open the case and see the model that is printed on the mainboard. AFAIK all reversions of the Z170X-Gaming 5 mainboards have two LAN ports.

About the iBooks, I have the exact transparent window when I open a book ePub or PDF so you're not alone. I removed the preference file for the iBooks but it didn't help.

I haven't tried anything else because I rarely use iBooks on my computer.

@SavageAUS Have you tested it yet?

Yes and working fine. I have booted Windows 10 and Sierra with it just fine, havnt tested HS yet. Appears more settings for cpu like intel speed shift and hyper threading. Can actually set the turbo for each core not just single core turbo.

There is some setting for decoding above 4k also.

Finally I did it!

Working HD530 + RX480.

Hi. My first post here.

I just finished my built. I have a Zotac GTX 560 TI OC which is worfking fine after installing the webdrivers and injecting them. But I also want to use the Integrated Graphics of the i7 6700k as well for a third monitor.

So, I enabled the Integrated Graphics in the BIOS and installed the IntelGraphicsFixup.kext  but the Display doesn't turn on. Do I have to copy over some of the lines from the config.plist for the HD530 Install? Can you tell me how you did it?

Thank you.

I have the EU version of this mobo.

Differences:

BIOS:

CSM Support = Disabled # missing

Secure Boot = Not Active # missing

Attempt Secure Boot = Disabled #missing

For my fusion drive with m.2 SSD I had to adjust:

Peripherals

SATS And RST Configuration = SSD | Aggr. LPM Support= disabled

Otherwise the fusion drive has been vanished after a reboot.

To get wake after long sleep I have to set:

sudo pmset -C autopoweroff 0

Without this the Hack is going from sleep to shutdown.

Thanx for your great guide!!!

I have the EU Version as well. Mine runs on F21 currently, but there's a newer one available, Version 22a.

I am not so good with this whole Hackintosh Stuff. Maybe you could help me out?

How do I get both GPUs running? I have a GTX 560 TI which is working fine but I'd also like to get the HD 530 working as well. I used the EFI Files from the NVIDIA Package for getting the system running. Or should I have started with the Intel Package and install the GTX afterwards?

Thank you. Very helpful Guide, btw!

For having both GPUs you can do it either way. what I mean is you can have the iGPU setup first and add the nVidia or the other way around.

All you need to do is to use the IntelHD 530 config.plist that I posted in the first topic and add the necessary flags for the nVidia as explained in the guide.

You need to have these kext to your EFI folder:

Lilu.kext

IntelGraphicsFixup.kext

nVidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

also add the Inject Intel=True with the ig-platfrom-id for your iGPU which is 0x19120000

Sleep works with darkwake=0 and darkwake=8 both on my system. the reason that I wrote darkwake=8 in the guide was because in the tests that we conducted with @SavageAUS it seemed that darkwake=8 is working on more systems that darkwake=0 so we decided to go with that.

Sleep works with darkwake=0 and darkwake=8 both on my system.

I have darkwake=8 in my config.plist but i had to add autopoweroff 0 in pmset for proper sleep.

And until now with no errors or fails.

Lenovo T460 macOS with Clover Guide
Latest Release on GitHub (March 2020) Updated to Clover r5105 Updated Lilu based kexts - Lilu, ALC, WEG Added AirportBrcmFixup.kext
Various Tweaks over Last months The main branch in my github repo is a complete Clover ESP (/EFI) bundle and kext pack for the Lenovo T460. The current file bundle seems to work on Sierra, HighSierra, Mojave and Catalina. There is an OpenCore branch in the repo as an alternative to Clover. This guide was developed for a Clover implementation. But the thread has evolved to include discussion of both Clover and Opencore for these systems: T460 and T470 family of ThinkPads.

Full Clover file set - config.plist etc. Includes all custom kexts Includes custom DSDT/SSDT scripts and patches Utility scripts The zip bundles are posted to GitHub: https://github.com/tluck/Lenovo-T460-Clover/releases
Caveat: The T460 systems used here was configured with: i5-6300U, Intel HD Graphics 520, 1920x1080 touch screen. If you have a different system model, then extract the ACPI files and use the included scripts to create a set of files consistent with your system type and BIOS version. See below for details.
Credits: RehabMan, Shmilee, vusun123, TimeWalker, Mieze from which, much of their work and help is/was was used to get the T460 to this point.
      Devices and aspects working:
Ethernet -  Intel I219LM is enabled via IntelMausiEthernext.kext WiFi/BT - substitute the Intel WiFi/BT with a compatible Broadcom or Atheros chip Audio - ALC293 codec implemented via AppleALC.kext (the old AppleHDA_ALC293 and CodecCommander kexts are not needed) PS2 - ClickPad + TrackPoint + all 3 buttons - using a modified VoodooPS2Controller to support new layouts - and added some custom Fn key maps based on 440/450 dsdt USB - implemented via custom SSDT + USBInjectAll kext. All USB3/USB2 ports are intel-based and work -  3 external USB and internal Camera, BT, etc  Sleep/Wake - the sleepwatcher package and custom sleep/wake scripts are used to help with sleep/wake for BT and PS2 devices. Note: have not tried to implement the SD card reader - no driver found.

A really good motherboard with macOS compatible bult-in Wifi & Bluetooth

      ASUS Z170-Deluxe (with Wifi)
      BIOS: v3801
      CPU: i7-6700K 4.0 to 4.2 GHz (w/o OC)

      Catalina 10.15.4 - Windows 10
      What is working:
BCM94360HMB Wifi and Bluetooth AirDrop, Handoff, FaceTime, Messages, App Store, iCloud, etc. Intel HD 530 (QE/CI tested, but now I'm using it in headless) Sleep RX 5700 (QE/CI with 2 1080p monitors connected) Sound (all ports) USB Ports Two Ethernet ports macOS with a light OC (4.12 GHz - 4.5 Ghz, XMP, ASUS optimal) No problem so far ASUS HyperKit with a KINGSTON NVMe SSD - 250 GB Hardware decoding/encoding on both HD 530 and RX 5700 iGPU QuickSync is used in the default config.plist To use dGPU for hw decode/encode you need to disable iGPU in BIOS and boot with "config_dgpu_enc_dec.plist" (this will use iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS, so you may need to resign in to use your iCloud) System Integrity Protection is Enabled by default. If you need to boot with SIP disabled you may use "config_debug.plist" or disable it manually in Clover settings. If you want Enabled SIP but with allowing unsigned kexts you may boot with "CsrActiveConfig = 0x01"
      What is not working:
      -

      Not tested:
      Thunderbolt (no equipment)
      Issues:
      None
      BIOS Settings:
Boot\CSM (Compatibility Support Module): Launch CSM: Disabled Boot\Secure Boot: OS type: Other OS Secure Boot State: Disabled Advanced\System agent (sa) Configuration: VT-d: Enabled Graphics Configuration: (This is for HD 530 in headless) Primary Display: Auto (to use dGPU only this must be PEG) iGPU Multi-monitor: Enabled (to use dGPU only this must be Disabled) RC6(Render Standby): Enabled (to use dGPU only this must be Disabled) DVMT Pre-Allocated: 128M Advanced\PCH Storage Configuration: SATA Mode Selection: AHCI HyperKit: Enable (if you have NVMe SSD with ASUS HyperKit) Advanced\CPU Configuration: Intel Virtualization Technology: Enabled CPU- Power Management Control: Intel SpeedStep: Enabled CPU- C-States: Enabled Intel SpeedShift: Enabled
      Getting ready for installation:
Download the bootpack (Clover v5112): Click here -> ASUS-Z170-Deluxe_Cata.zip
      Installation:
Create an installer with any method you know (- Mac: createinstallmedia, gibMacOS - Windows: Transmac, Vmware, Win32diskimager, gibMacOS) Copy my Clover folder to the USB's EFI folder Boot with the Installer USB If you have any problem (kp or freeze) boot with config_debug.plist to see what causes the issue
      Post Installation:
Download Clover Configurator and generate a new Serial Number for yourself
      Some pictures:

Catalina & Windows 10 Dual-Boot (clean install, on one drive):
Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac)
Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart
Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install.
Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type:
      bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi
You're done! It will booting into Clover when you start the system, and you can select Win or Mac (or another OS if installed on a 3rd partition).

IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING WINDOWS INSTALLATION (could not be formatted, etc):
Make sure you have GPT partitions, and GPT (UEFI) installer, also disconnect all external storage drives (except the installer USB)
      Mounting EFI from Windows:
Open cmd in administrator mode and type: mountvol b: /s (This will mount your EFI) Open Total Commander or Explorer++ in administrator mode to manage EFI mountvol b: /d (This will unmount your EFI)

Installed Catalina 10.15.4 (19E287) Vanilla with OpenCore on my HP Elitedesk 800 G2 Mini.

Everything is working (Wifi isn't but I'm using Ethernet anyway) but my second display.

I'm trying to get them both connected via DisplayPort as the only other output on my computer is VGA.

I've tried manually setting the framebuffer arguments, but I cannot get it to output to both displays. Yet if I unplug one and restart, it will use the other one just fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
