u can edit USBInjectAll kext for it

check what port aio liquid cooler usb header stay and set to 255, ssdt just change it and others, u can edit all into kext or flag, like a ssdt

skylake is a12f, check if work

Any port that uses a motherboard usb header should be 255 yeah? Internal? Usb 2.0 is 0 and usb 3.0 is 3.

Setting cooler to 255 still gave me instant wake.

This is with my SSDT and port limit patch.

Has anyone tried this board with 2 x nvme m.2. I would like the speed boost as opposed to a standard ssd.

In particular looking at getting 2 x Samsung 970 EVO M.2 500g to replace 2 x 240g ssd.

As you might already know, the NVMe ports share the PCI lane with SATA ports and if you use NVMe drives some of those SATA ports will be disabled.

Check the manual of the mainboard before purchasing the drives.

I installed mine in the M2H_32G M.2 connector which only disabled the SATA3_0 port and all of my other drives are OK (I have 5 other hard disks including a SSD disk).

Yes. Quite nice, quite speedy. Only catch is that it'll take up all your lanes, like Cyberdevs said, which limits the amount of other drives you can use.

Just a friendly reminder, booting macOS from a NVMe drive takes longer than a SATA SSD but one the macOS is loaded the performance is better.

Has anyone tried installing the macOS Mojave Pre-Release for this board yet?
Yes. It works fine (except nvidia cards) no drivers yet.

Ok, thanks. Then I'll skip High Sierra and install it on another SSD once nvidia drivers are available.

High Sierra is at 10.13.6 now and very stable for me. But yeah Mojave release should be good once nvidia release drivers. Maybe even the ones from 10.13.6 will work, I haven't tested yet.

I had High Sierra installed on a macmini and I had issues with audio plugins. Afterr install they ONLY were recognized after rebooting. I couldn't tolerate that.

has been awhile that i have been following the thread.

My 10.12.6 system has been working fine gaming 7 board instead of 5. and using 1080ti.

Is it safe to do updates from app store or will it mess things up. Might try to do a 10.13.6 new install on another ssd since i heard its stable.

thanks for this thread

I'm glad that you've found this thread helpful :)

A long while ago I attempted to update Sierra to High Sierra with success, but there are few pointers that you might find useful:

1. Always make a backup of your data before attempting to update any version of macOS just in case

2. Make sure you have the latest Clover and the most updated kexts installed.

3. Backup your existing EFI folder and keep it on a USB disk

4. You might need to make some adjustments to your EFI folder to have the best experience with High Sierra.

A lot has changed in both macOS High Sierra and the Clover so make sure you know all the facts before performing the update.

If you need more information feel free to ask.

I did update of clover and it I got black screen on boot. So I explore it more and it seem that during update of clover deleted OsxAptioFix2Drv-64. So I had to copy it from backup.

And then I reinstall clover with AptionMemoryFix-64 instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 and added ApfsDriverLoader-64 (you have to delete apfs.efi)

Everything is now ok.

I'm trying to install High Sierra 10.13.3 on an ASUS N552VW laptop, and I get stuck after this message:
"could not recover SATA HDD after 5 attempts, terminating"
      And some other warnings afterwards.
      Specs:
      CPU: Intel Skylake 6700HQ 2.6GHz
      RAM: 16GB DDR4
      2TB HDD + 128GB SSD
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530 + Nvidia GTX960m
I'm installing using a 16GB USB3 flash drive on one of HDD volumes (UEFI Mode)

I uploaded the verbose log and clover config.plist
      config-new.plist

Lenovo T460 macOS with Clover Guide
Latest Release on GitHub Updated to Clover r4861 Updated Kexts Shift to use WhatEvergreen.kext SSDT updates for T460 Added Frank's T470p DSDT files Added T470 DSDT Remove kextunload/kextload in /etc/rc.sleep and /etc/rc.wake to avoid KP on sleep
Various Tweaks over Last months The zip file is a complete Clover ESP (/EFI) bundle and kext pack for the Lenovo T460. The current file bundle is tested on Sierra.
Note: I never got the GFX fully working on El Capitan.
Full Clover file set - config.plist etc. Includes all custom kexts Includes custom DSDT/SSDT scripts and patches Utility scripts The zip bundles are posted to GitHub: https://github.com/tluck/Lenovo-T460-Clover/releases
Caveat: The T460 systems used here was configured with: i5-6300U, Intel HD Graphics 520, 1920x1080 touch screen. If you have a different system model, then extract the ACPI files and use the included scripts to create a set of files consistent with your system type and BIOS version. See below for details.
Credits: RehabMan, Shmilee, vusun123, TimeWalker, Mieze from which, much of their work and help is/was was used to get the T460 to this point.
      Devices and aspects working:
Ethernet -  Intel I219LM is enabled via IntelMausiEthernext.kext WiFi/BT - substitute the Intel WiFi/BT with a compatible Broadcom or Atheros chip Audio - ALC293 codec implemented via AppleALC.kext (old AppleHDA_ALC293 and CodecCommander kexts are not needed) PS2 - ClickPad + TrackPoint + all 3 buttons - using a modified VoodooPS2Controller to support new layouts - and added some custom Fn key maps based on 440/450 dsdt USB - implemented via custom SSDT + USBInjectAll kext. All USB3/USB2 ports are intel-based and work -  3 external USB and internal Camera, BT, etc  Sleep/Wake - the sleepwatcher package and custom sleep/wake scripts are used to help with sleep/wake for BT and PS2 devices. Note: have not tried to implement the SD card reader - no driver found.
