I had everythingworking. Then i updated to 10.12.6... any isea how to get the l420 to boot on 10.12.6

EDIT

Fixed this issue by reinstalling the OS FRESH. Ran into a problem were the macOS installer would not work stating something along the lines "Connect computer to Power source". What fixed this for me was when this message came up I pulled the battery out of the pc and it proceeded to install MacOS 10.12.6.

New issue:

I am lost on how to fix the system to display battery details

2. Install bootloader (Clover) to install media

You should select your USB in the Clover installer and then hit “Customize”

Select the next options:

Install Clover in the ESP

Install boot0ss in MBR

Clover EFI 64bits SATA

CSMVideoDxe-64

EmuVariableUEFI-64

OsxAptioFix2Drv-64

Fat64

Should I leave all other options that are selected by default as they are or should I unselect everything and only select what you've listed above? Thanks in advance.

Hello @kosakgroove I request for your help to custom or remap my keyboard keys, in special for brightness control keys. I need to know how to modify the VoodooPS2Controller.kext from RehabMan to do it work with my keyboard.

Please I need your support.

I have a post here

Thanks in advance.

      Dear @tluck

      I have a T460s 20F9-003HUS - I5-6300U 2C 2.4GHz, FHD non-touch, 8GB DDR4, PM961 NVMe, vPro, AMT, etc.
      http://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/ThinkPad_T460s?M=20F9003HUS

I have been following the following thread to hackintosh my T460s:
but it's very long and hard to sort through, so I thought I'd start a new thread specifically for this issue

Personally, my model has been doing pretty good with just the T460 EFI from github.  I did run the scripts to create and patch a new DSDT, though, after installing patchmatic and iasl.  I also manually installed VooDooPS2Controller.kext by following the guide on RehabMan's git wiki.

I also re-installed my kexts from CLOVER/kexts/other using kext helper to build them into the kext cache

My only glaring issue is the touchpad.  It's unusably bad, I've had to use a mouse which kinda sucks on a laptop.

It'll be really slow and then all of the sudden be really fast.  It hangs and skips intermittently.  Kind of hard to describe but it's {censored}.

      So far I've tried:

installing latest version of VooDooPS2Controller, urning off all gestures, modifying speed, patching DSDT with autogen scripts (iASL, patchmatic).

Has anybody seen this problem?  What do you recommend I do?

Happy to provide any logs anyone believes would be relevant via pastebin, etc.

      Thank you!

      Hi everybody,

      I'm new here and French.
I success to hack my Asus X751LJ and pass it to High Sierra 10.13.6, not easily, and everything works except the keyboard and the touchpad.
      I tried VoodooPS2Controller, ApplePS2SmartTouchpad, even VoodooI2C, but nothing works...
Could someone help me? Is there a DSDT problem? Witch kext should I use?
I post my ACPI and Kexts folders and my IOReg.
      Please... Help me. I'm desperate...
