IN NEED OF REBOOT OSX, BUT AFRAID THAT IT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REBOOT PLEASE READ ALL So i have just about reformatted my osx about 5 times... all because of this: When i FIRST install my osx, it finishes installation and reboots (as it is supposed to) and i enter into my system, edit my profile info, yada yada.. and right now, im on my osx, but then whenever i reboot, it ALWAYS shows up with the APPLE logo and a little CIRCLE with a SLASH mark in it, and i NEED to reboot my computer right now. but if i reboot it, i wont be able to get back on, and i will be screwed again, and then ill have to reformat my osx all over again. please somebody help me, i need to reboot ASAP! Thanks tons! -r2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32180-solved/ Share on other sites

OriginalMACNUT
how am i supposed to enter -vright before it says loading darwin x86? because then im just testing my os to see whats the problem but then i wont be able to get back on it.. Hit F8 after the system starts and out of the bios start up, However hitting it t early with some systems will brin up the boot select, anyways after all that hit F8 to enter verbose mode, also I've had some builds that did this, I as able to rboot with -v -f.
