warscout
Hello, guys! I've installed sierra on my laptop ASUS K551LB-XX249 for like two week ago and still can't solve sleeping problem. I'm using UEFI clover and here's what pmset -g assertions says: Assertion status system-wide: BackgroundTask 0 ApplePushServiceTask 0 UserIsActive 1 PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0 PreventSystemSleep 0 ExternalMedia 0 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 0 NetworkClientActive 0 Listed by owning process: pid 100(hidd): [0x000000d20009804d] 00:08:41 UserIsActive named: "com.apple.iohideventsystem.queue.tickle.4294968024.3" Timeout will fire in 1798 secs Action=TimeoutActionRelease Kernel Assertions: 0x4=USB id=500 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d100000 owner=IOUSBHostDevice id=502 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.14500000 owner=USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam id=503 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.14700000 owner=USB2.0-CRW id=504 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d130000 owner=802.11n WLAN Adapter id=505 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.14400000 owner=Bluetooth USB Host Controller id=506 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/1970, 07:00 description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.14100000 owner=USB Device Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler When I click on "sleep" button, my screen shuts off, sound disappears and that all. Numlock light and others doesn't turn off and when I push any key system wakes up.I guess problem is in my usb, but I patched DSDT some times, but it gave simply nothing. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/321393-laptop-cant-sleep/ Share on other sites

MaLd0n
what ur audio codec? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/321393-laptop-cant-sleep/#findComment-2371947 Share on other sites
warscout
what ur audio codec? ALC3236. It works with AppleALC, but not completely. Combo-jack is doesn't get 4-th pin and can work only with 3-pin headphones. I tried VoodooHDA, but it causes kernel panic every time even with applehdadisabler or even without applehda. One guy with name "Slice" said that i have some problems with processor interruption and I have to configure my BIOS better, but my laptop has very few configuration in BIOS. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/321393-laptop-cant-sleep/#findComment-2371953 Share on other sites
