acrilex Posted January 30, 2017 Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hello, I am trying to install Sierra on my HP laptop with following specs: HP Pavilion 15-ab054ca: Intel Core i5-5200U 16GB DDR3L-1600 250GB Samsung 250 EVO (original was 1TB 5400rpm SATA) Intel HD 5500 RTL8723BE WiFi RTL8101/2/6E PCI Express Fast/Gigabit Ethernet When I boot from Clover EFI, I can select my OS X installation USB. However, even with the FakeSMC kext inside kexts/10.12 and kexts/Other, as soon as I select it and boot with "-v", it simply throws a black screen. I was previously on mavericks, was working well. However, when I replaced my HDD with a SSD because of crash, I lost my DSDT and my clover config. Anyone knows how to fix clover throwing to this black screen in verbose boot?
