pocopico
Hi, I'm trying to install OS X 10.4.7 on my girlfriends 845 Chip set PC with an SSE2 CPU. The bootloader hangs when it tries to start. i dont get anything on my screen. I just get a "Searching for bootable CDROM : OK" from my bios and then it freezes. I've done the installation of OSX on my laptop and my desktop using the same media and it was successfully installed. any help is welcome.
joe75
It sounds like the disk drive is not recognized by OSX, I have that problem sometimes with certain Linux distros Unfortunately the only fix would be a drive thats compatible

McSkywalker
Maybe it's the ATA drivers?
