mynameismatthew
as much as i despise it, have you tried that one tool from tonymac that nobody likes here? it's usually the first place you go for audio codecs drivers to install without hassle

SavageAUS
Either AppleHDA Patcher or AppleALC work just fine. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Mikethebike
PS: Just tried applehdapatcher but still no sound. Apart click on patch are there other steps to do? Thanks I found somewhere a realtek.kext but doesn't work. Well maybe because of my old 2 speaker configuration? On Win10 stereo is broken but 5.1 without all speakers apart the side seems to work. Is there a sound manager like on windows?

ydeng
The simplest install is VoodooHDA 2.8.9. I have this sound chip and it works without any artificial adjustmens. I have this too hiding behind AMD Azalia contoller. VoodooHDA works like a charm. Tried DSDT change and many other AppleHDA patches, none worked.
