This is a native install.

I have a gigalan so instead of using that onboard card since i know it doesnt detect im trying seperate pci cards. I had them laying around and there old cards so im just posting to ask if they should work before I go through the hassle or trying to get them running.

Im running a gigabyte ga-k8nf-9 mobo with nforce4 chipset

I have a 3com 3c450 pci ethernet card and a realtek rtl8029

I already tried the tulip trick on both my gigalan and the 3com ethernet. Im not gonna install the realtek if you guys dont think its gonna work.

Everything else seems to work except no vid card exceleration which no one has so not a big deal.

Here's a list:

The RTL 8029 is very old, I don't know if such old things works.

Try a RTL 8139, or another actual card that works in OSX86, it cost 4€ in Germany (5$ in US?)

You 2 old ethernet cards are trash so you can sell it by E-bay
