Precision M65 Blue screen Hangup - Why is no one helping me?

Hello all, I have been trying this for a while and read so many forums but very few people have this computer. I have a

-Dell precision M65 laptop

-Intel 945PM Express chipset

-Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13

-2gb ram

-80gb SATA 7300rpm

-nVidia Quadro FX 350m 256mb

- 1920 x 1600

-sigmatel audio

-intel wireless

I have 10.4.6 Hotiso dvd and this is a brand new harddrive so I first tried install XP, then OSX. Then got fed up of having to install XP all the time cause it takes too long, so now I am only installing OSX on the primary partition. once I get it working then i'll install XP.

and here is what has happened so far

Trial 1 - 4: would not load because partition was not primary...fixed that by setting primary

Trial 5 - 8: Installed but kept getting the power button screen saying that i need to restart my computer...fixed that by adding more patches: 10.4.6. update, SSE3, Wireless, Sigmatel, SATA

Trial 9 - 12: No I get it installed and booted up properly but it get hung up on a blue screen. I have tried the external monitor but that is not working. Still trying different combinations of patches

Questions: what patches should i install? Should I use VMWare? Do I need a new OSX86 dvd (jas image)? Other external monitor solutions?

Thank you very much for any suggestions to get me going. I bought a second hard drive specifically to get Ghost recon running in XP (didnt work because video card is not supported) and to get OSX running. I want to at least get one thing working so the $200 isnt a waste.

I installed it using JaS 10.4.6 (10.4.4 with the patches on the DVD). It installs fine on my M65. I took it off because although it was fast and pretty most of my hardware - firewire, networking, wifi, bluetooth and sound wasn't working. I installed the MacVidia 1.0.8 drivers and the video works great. Until drivers for the rest of my hardware comes out, its worthless.

What did you install to get your hardware working?

If its any help, do the following:

1) Turn off the dual core in the BIOS.

2) Make sure the external monior is connected

3) Burn the Jaz ISO to a Verbatim DVD+RW 4.7gb disc.

No blue screens ....ever.

Thank alot A-Man. You do have a point, Its no use without the proper drivers. But I dont like using Windows XP, its so slow compared to OSX on my 1.66core duo mac mini. I guess i'll have to wait a while then. How do you know when the hardware is supported?

Thanks again
