HI, I've installed OS X El Capitan on my frined's notebook.

There isn't working QE/CI beacuse the notebook have an nVidia 840m. I know that i can disable through DSDT but i don't know how to do it. ( The laptop has an integrated HD 4400)

Can you help us?

Thanks

You should now generate a proper SSDT for power management in your Hackintosh. Use this script:  https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh

Best SMBIOS to use would be Macbook Pro 11,2 so that you get proper graphics power management and proper stepping and CPU throttling.

Here are the files you should use,

patched.zip

and you should also add the custom generated SSDT to the ones I sent you and put them all in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched and use the SortedOrder in the Clover config.plist 's file, making sure there are no typos. Alo for getting QE/CI working you should get in your Clover config plist the values of :

0x0a260006 for ig-platform id , make sure to select Inject Intel option in that section.

0x04128086 for FakeID IntelGFX

Drop all OEM SSDT and use Sorted Order and those values in your plist, in conjunction with the FakePCIID.kext , FakePCIID Intel_HD_Graphics.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext along with IntelBacklight.kext  and let me know...

QE/CI, Brightness, Sleep should be working, if they do I will move along to disabling the Nvidia
