The new GM driver still cannot detect my GTX 750 TI.

So bad. I can load into the system. However, when using Chrome, a lot of flickering in screen.

Guys, I just removed a lot of "off topic" posts - In my previous post, I asked you to stay focused on the main discussion.

All agdpfix, smbios and nvram issues have nothing to do with this thread. We already have dedicated topics for that so you can use our "research feature" to find them.

In order to keep this topic clean, all "off topic" posts will be deleted without warning!!!

I'm counting on your understanding.  ;)

The new GM driver still cannot detect my GTX 750 TI.

So bad. I can load into the system. However, when using Chrome, a lot of flickering in screen.

This was exactly the issue I had following updates from PB5 to PB7 - simply could not get this driver to stick at all! I eventually downpaded PB7 again and made a fresh install stick. Installed a clean copy and used my existing Clover for El Capitan to boot )having moved kexts to a 10.12 folder in my case (Though "Other" will do just as well). Once I booted and installed the driver this time... I had 2 monitors working out of 3. On the next reboot 3 out of 3 and all working on this driver. Only issue though is that there is NO HDMI AUDIO!!!! But still... better than that annoying flickering and lack of graphic acceleration. I can now boot without any flags at all!

Try it! May work for you too!

I have since updated to the GM and the same driver installed prior to the update still works fine which is why I am very suspicious  about the  comment

Nvidia Web Driver - 367.10.10.05b01 has been updated to support the last macOS 10.12 GM build 16A320.

More like the post has been updated to say that the same driver we have been using since PB3 still works! Seems doubtful any work has been done on it though...

I'm afraid that's all what it is.  :(

And unfortunately, don't think things will change with public release (367.10.10.05f01).

Is that okay to posting / discussing about performance of driver (specially related with metal) or would be considered as off-topic as well ? I meant benchmarks  :P

hey guys,

any sign of Nvidia GTX 1080 support? It's the only thing keeping me from installing hackintosh.

maybe it is supported in the future

Mystifying why they'd make this beta final without addressing the issue but as you say.... may have to wit for an updated driver which I hope they are already working on and will be available on the 20th or thereabouts! They were pretty good on support for Maxwell for El Capitan!

Back to the main discussion, though.  :)

Nvidia Web Driver - 367.10.10.05b01 has been updated to support the last macOS 10.12 GM build 16A320.

Please, check the first page post #1.

Regards

Nvidia just added the support for the latest macOS 10.12 GM3 build 16A322.

The driver seems to be the same since DP4/PB3 so don't expect to see any improvement.

Just read the build number for this latest "update" is 16A322 whereas my build is 16A320... and there is seeminly no update in Mas..... what's the story there? But indeed... same build for the driver so no update!

There is however an update for iTunes... I really hope at least there is colour again... they stripped out all the good thigs I like about it!

My gtx 980 isn't working with 16A322 drivers with same macOS build

tried forcing it, with no luck

Well, I had a similar problem I guess (the difference is that my video card is an GTX 750ti).
I've found that the boot_args with nvda_drv=1 is not enough and, for my case to be using a z97 motherboard, is not necessary to have the EmuVariableUefi file at /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI, so, I've deleted it, cleared the nvram (sudo nvram -c) and then use the NV Web Driver to set the nvram variable, restarted and now is working fine (excepts for the transparency issue)  :thumbsup_anim:

Hope this helps you.

Hi Everybody,

I have successfully installed the driver under Sierra with a Gigabyte GTX 970 on a Skylake system (Gigabyte z170m + 6600k), but could not activate it, until I installed the EmuUefiVariables.efi extension in Clover.

Perhaps will it helpful to somebody...

But with the newest Clover 3751, i can set the NVRAM variable NvidiaWeb=true, so i don't need the EmuUefiVariables extension at all, again...

Thanks for the great work!

i told them like 6 pages back but they didn't listen to me , now my board works without having to use emuvariable, so that weird problem that i had is now fixed thanks to this new version of clover, so i only needed to use emuvariable only in sierra and only for the card to work in sierra , my board has support for nvram without having to use emuvariable so it turn out to be a problem that clover fixed , technically i was forced to use emuvariable in sierra if i wanted my card to work, i explain this a million times, then they say that i didn't know what i was doing or i didn't know what i was talking about, that there it was something wrong with my board or my configuration. so time proved me right. anyway let's just forget the whole thing and move on, i'm happy and i can't wait for Sep 20. Sierra  :thumbsup_anim:

exactly the same thing happened to me

now we are not forced to use emuvariable if our boards have support for nvram , the only person now that needs to use emuvariable are the ones that don't have nvram support in their boards and they are using clover in EUFI mode, so things are now back to normal.

Clover r4799 ISO compiled with GCC and minimal config.plist compatible for use in VMWare Workstation.

Tested with unlocked Workstation 15 running OSX 10.9 -->10.14 guest in Windows X64 host.

      Installation
      1. Download and unzip "EFI_Clover_r4799 for VMware.zip". Mount Clover-v2.4k-4799-X64 by double clicking on it.
      2. Mount your VM's EFI System Partition eg in terminal
sudo diskutil mount disk0s1   3. Copy EFI folder from step 1 into the EFI partition
      4. Shutdown the VM, add bios.bootDelay = "3000" to your VM's vmx file
      5. Reboot your VM, press <F2> to access the VMware Boot Manager and add CLOVERX64.efi to the boot menu.

Substitute your own unique and valid MLB and ROM variables in the /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist (Rt Variables section) to activate iMessage/Facetime on your VM.

I successfully installed macOS 10.11.6 and Windows 7 Pro SP1 in UEFI mode on the laptop.
I know, there are detailed guides here and on osxlatitude.com but I was not agree with them and carefully check and test every step to tune my Mac.

      Hardware
Intel® Core i5-3320M CPU @ 2.60GHz, speedstep works with Clover default settings
Chipset Intel 7 series, no patches needed
Video: IntelHD4000 or NVS5200M switchable in BIOS, work in both cases
      LAN; Intel 82579LM, works with IntelMausiEthernet.kext v2.2.1
Audio: IDT 92HD93BXX, works with VoodooHDA 2.9.0.
SDHC reader O2Micro; works with native AppleSDHC.kext with Clover Arbitrary properties.
USB3.0 works natively if not disabled in DSDT
PS2 keyboard and touchpad works with VoodooPS2.
WiFi: Dell Intel WiFi was replaced by Dell DW1520, Broadcom BCM943224HMS. DeviceID=4353
      LCD Screen 1366x768
BIOS A12. Initially was A02. Then I flashed A23 and found it is quite bad. The screen is full of artefacts. Flash A12 and all is OK. Not tested other versions.
For some reason BIOS can switched from Intel to Nvidia by itself so I have to do my solution working independent on this state.

      WiFi
It is not working OOB although it has DeviceID known to Apple. The reason is WhiteList in the driver.
I set MacModel as MacBookPro10,1 while the WiFi will work on MacBookAir. I make a patch in Clover.
As well a patch for channels.
I deleted a kext Brcm4331 because it has the same DeviceID. Let kext Brcm4360 to work alone.

      VideoCards
In Bios we can set Optimus = Enable/Disable
If Enable then we have two videocards Intel first and Nvidia second. In this case additional SSDT-3.aml will switch off Nvidia.
If Disable then we have only Nvidia card. It will work if Board-ID taken from iMac13,2.
But here there is contradiction with WiFi with required Board-ID from MacBookAir.
So I take MacModel as MacBookPro10,1 which is most close by CPU IvyBridge.
Set BoardID like iMac13,2 to make Nvidia working.
Patch BoardID in Brcm4360 to make WiFi working.
      Now I have
      Inject->
      ->Intel=YES
      ->Nvidia=YES
and SSDT-3.aml in ACPI\patched folder. This SSDT will switch off Nvidia if Intel card ON.
For Intel graphics there is a patch against 8 apples at start.

      Brightness
      No special kexts.
The brightness controlled by keys F1,F2 and slider in Control Panel in both case Intel or Nvidia. Details here  #72

      DSDT and SSDT
This is very long story and finally I have working sleep in both cases Intel or Nvidia.

      Sensors
      I use my HWSensors3 with FakeSMC 3.5.0.
      I got monitoring:
      CPU temperature
      GPU temperature
      GPU main frequency
      GPU shader frequency
Battery state % full, time to charged or time to empty.
      Battery voltage dinamically.
Battery amperage dynamically. I can see it changes on heavy games.
      HDD temperature.

      Audio
I like VoodooHDA and have no problems with it.
The sound is clear, loud, and switchable between internal speaker and headphone.
      Mic is working.

      Bluetooth
Just tested with BTFirmwareUpdate.kext and it works. I not needed it so switched off by wireless switch at right side.

      Keyboard, Touchpad and Touchstick
      Post #14

My config, ACPI files and kexts are in attachment.
      05.12.2017
      EFI.7z

      EDITED:
Better DSDT in the post #6.
Sleep working even when AC inserted.

      EDITED 06.12.2018
Now I have HighSierra and this is my EFI folder
      EFI-E6430.zip

      Welcome to discussion!

As practice shows with the installation of macOS 10.14 Mojave, official cakes from previous, previous versions of the OS sometimes help. So, I pulled out folders /System/Library/Extensions /Library/Extensions from different versions of MacOSX and uploaded on Yandex.Disk and Mediafire. I hope someone will help.   ► 10.4.11
