zxv Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi, On my x99 system both About This Mac dialog and System Report information now show "16 GB 2133 MHz DDR4" instead of the usual DDR3 (I just updated to 10.11.5 beta, no strings injection on my side) AFAIK DDR4 has always displayed correctly as DDR4 in About This Mac, no string injection required.
