oneoone Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 hey guys, I have 10.4.7 installed on my 17" HP Pavilion dv8000 laptop and am only having 2 issues, no sound or internet. i have a wireless card and a ethernet card and the sound card driver for XP is Conexant High Def Audio the ethernet card is Texas Instruments OHCI, any help would be greatly appreciated! And I gave a link to a guide to getting Realtek audio working. According to Google, you have Realtek audio and might be able to use the guide. But more importantly, I said to read the Appendix to the guide so that you can determine the vendor and device id's of your audio chips to start the process of trying to fix your sound.
