Motherboard : Gigabyte Z170X - Gaming 7 (I need more onboard Sata Ports)
VGA : Palit Jetstream GTX960 4GB DDR5
Memory : Dual Channel Team Extreem Dark 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 3000Mhz OC
Storages : 6 Storages (120GB SSD Natno For Windows 10 Enterprise, 120GB Fujitsu for OS X El Capitan, 2TB For Data Multimedia / Program, 2TB for Master Game Installer, 500GB For Data OS X, 500GB for Game Live Installed)
Optical Drive : Asus DVD-RW Box
LAN : Dual LAN - Killer LAN E2400 dan Intel I219V
Wifi Card : TP-Link TL-WDN4800
Camera : A4Tech PK-920H WebCam
Monitor : 2X Asus VN248H @24" Full HD Supported
Audio Codec : Creative CA0132
Clover version : 3330
OS X Version : El Capitan 10.11.2 Beta Build 15C48a
Boot Mode : UEFI with CSM Disabled

Working :
1. QE/CI Full Support with Nvdia

8. LAN Killer E2400
9. Etc

Not Working :
1. Can'nt use AppleHDA :( Update : we can use AppleHDA for Creative CA0132. See here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309441-new-applehda-patcher/?p=2194865
2. Not supported Ethernet I219V yet Work with new kext see here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205771-appleintele1000ekext-for-108107106105/page-38?do=findComment&comment=2195842credit to @alreadystarted
3. Intel HD 7000 Integrated
4. Super Speed USB 3.0 not function at 10.11.2 Beta version. But, with 10.11.1 Public releas it's working nicely. Bug i thought. Update : with 10.11.2 Build 15C50 all USB are Working, use my "Z170X-Gaming-7-USB3.0-Injection.kext" and SMBios 17.1 Credit to Rehabman

I just need to flash bios into beta version then Go to BIOS Setup and "disable IOAPIC Entry" :) , then dumping your DSDT with Clover and check about all of your XHC device port and make USBInjection.kext from Clover :)

This is my Files

1. This is for Z170X-Gaming 7 + Palit Jetstream Nvidia GTX960 + TL-WDN4800. So if your system build is not same to my sytem then you need to modify DSDT File. Click>>Z170X-Gaming 7 Conifguration Tested by Me<<< to download files

2. Universal Setting Clover. Try to use this one if you have different Graphics Card, Processor and PCI-E Device. If you want to use Integrated Graphics and Discrette Graphics Card then set into BIOS for Primary Graphics from IGFX then just boot and it should active your integrated first and discrette graphics output few later. If you just want to boot with Discrette Graphics then set at bios primary graphics is PCI-E. Click>>>General Setting Without Graphic Injection for Z170X-Gaming 7<< to download files

3. AppleHDA Creative CA0132 Work without Volume Control. Click >>AppleHDA Files<< to download files. After extract you will get Creative-CA0132.kext, Layout1.zml.zlib, Platform.zml.zlib and Patch-OTF.plist.

Tutorial for AppleHDA (First you need to remove VooDooHDA.kext + HDADisabler.kext + HDAEnabler.kext if you used it before)
3a. LayoutID has been set "1" with DSDT. So you don't need to set it again with HDAEnabler or Clover Injection.
3b. Extract the files and you will find "Creative-CA0132.kext" copy this to EFI/CLOVER/Kexts/10.11
3c. Open your config.plist with Clover Configurator and add this to "Kernel and Kext Patches->KextToPatch" section (you can see this patch at "Patch-OTF.plist")

          Name : AppleHDA
          Find : 786d6c2e7a6c
          Replace : 7a6d6c2e7a6c
Comment : Change Path XML to ZML

          Name : AppleHDA
          Find :  0088ec1a
          Replace : 11000211
          Comment : Rename Codec 1

          Name :  AppleHDA
          Find : 7419ad15
          Replace : 00000000
          Comment : Reset Codec

3d. Copy your original AppleHDA.kext from System/Library/Extensions to Desktop. Then copy "layout1.zml.zlib" and "Platform.zml.zlib" to this kext with path "AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources". And reinstall the kext with Kext Utility.  :thumbsup_anim:  :thumbsup_anim: . Credit to Wern Apfel, Mirone and Abxite for XML to ZML method

Special Note : If you have already use my DSDT and Config.plist then you can skip step 3a. 3b and 3c

This is very interesting. I want to keep tabs on how well this works.

Does audio not work from the creative card or is that working well now?

I'd considered this board when part shopping for my machine and briefly flirting w/ the prospect of going ATX, but the lack of AppleHDA-compatible onboard audio was a dealbreaker.

Awesome you got this up and running though w/o too much difficulty.

Nice work Andres. How did you get on with Gigabyte's BETA FW F6g?

I just need to download BIOS file then enter bios, and press "F8" then you go :D

What's the difference between SSDTPrGen vs. the Skylake hardware sensors in FakeSMC.kext along with VoodooTSC...?

I don't know, AFAIK I use VooDooTSC for X79 Intel Platforms. I always use FakeSMC with CPUSensor.kext as plugin :D

I have them same like you but not allowed me to install el capitan with error: Still waiting for root device.

Cpu: i7-6700

Mainboard: Gaming G7 Z170

How can i fixed ?

You need to set XHCI Handoff enabled at bios,, and don't forget to flash latest BETA BIOS for your board. And check your bios setting and make sure IOAPIC Entry = Disabled. Then see my configuration at uploaded file above

We have different Graphics Card here. I think you need using FB Name "Chutoro" for your Graphics Card :D and Flash Latest Beta Bios for your board and make sure to disable IOAPIC Entry at BIOS Setting

Owh,, i almost forgot. You can use my "Z170X-Gaming-7-USB3.0-Injection.kext" at Uploaded file above. Don't forget to use SMBios 17.1,, see my config.plist otherwise your USB will have problem. We have default "XHC" not "XHCI" at BIOS. That's important thing to run USBINjectionKext  :hysterical:

Sorry for my Bad English

SUCCESS Gaming G1 works out of the box!

Installed new beta bios F6g (didn't bother with F6i beta yet from the giga forums... Dropped in a pre-installed El Capitain 10.11.1 SSD (set up for an iMac 13,2 setup Z77X UD5 TH) into one of the SATAs without changing anything, used;-

XHCI Handoff enabled

disable IOAPIC (which now 'appears' in the choices in this 'safe' beta BIOS F6g)

Thought Id boot up just for giggles as the prior mob had basic installs with clover and setup for the 980tiGTX and everything is working.

Time to play with 10.11.2

Haven't done any other kext patching etc yet...

This file is not a file that you are using right now. I can see the GREY Port is NODE 17 and Speaker is 4. But at your platform that you sent to me there is not the node. You have modified it, haven't you?

[success] El Cap 10.11.2 on Gigabyte z170 Gaming G1 / i7 6700k \64Gb RAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6143 MB

All pretty cool so far.

Both Killer network nics work with Atheros2200\2400 Meinze's kext.

Most USBs work / switched some off at boot so yet to try all

Attempting to see if Killer WIFI AC1535 will work (could've sworn I noticed this was working earlier...)

Attempting to see if I can get the m.2 samsung PCIe x4 NVME 500Gb card working

Will take a look at getting Creative 3D Sound {censored} working too

This guide is a work in progress and will be updated as I refine the installation.

      Background
This is my first "modern" hack supporting UEFI and my first hack using Clover "on-the-fly" patches.  My previous hacks (Laptop: Thinkpad T61 / Nvidia NVS 140m, Laptop: Dell Latitude E6410 / Nvidia G3100m, Desktop: Gigabyte G31 / GeForce 9600, Desktop: Biostar TH55HD / Sapphire Pulse RX580) are all perfectly running Catalina and I patched them all "manually" - all DSDT patches applied with MaciSL with virtually no Clover on-the-fly patching and all booted Legacy Clover.  This UEFI hack was MUCH easier and took about 20 hours vs. a combined hundreds of hours for the old hacks.  I wanted a hack that was a little more future proof and I think this is it.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I am enjoying it.  It is a perfect MacMini8,1.

      My system specs
      HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini (I7-8700T / UHD 630 / Q370 Chipset / 32GB DDR4 RAM) 3 x DP Ports (connected to monitors using DP -> DVI adapters) 6 x USB 3.1 1 x USB Type-C 3.1 2 x NVMe SSD (M.2 PCIe x4 2280/2230 combo ports) 1 x SATA6 SSD 1 x Intel Ethernet RJ-45 Conexant CX20632 Audio Codec SMBIOS MacModel MacMini 8,1 Unsupported M.2 PCIe x1 2230 Intel Wi-Fi (currently disabled in BIOS).  I may replace this with Brcm, but am using only Ethernet (IntelMausi) for now.
      Installation Steps: To be provided
See attached EFI and /L/E kexts in EliteDesk.zip archive See installation methodology here See references here
      What is not working
Wi-Fi / Bluetooth (intentional since I have not yet replaced my Intel card).
      What is not tested
USB c 3.1 port Microphone port
      What is working
Everything not mentioned above Sleep / Wake Multiple displays with IGPU graphics acceleration, hot pluggable display ports and DP->DVI adapters USB 3.1 ports Audio (internal speaker and headphone jack) Ethernet Auto-sensing headphone jack automatically switches to internal speaker when headphones removed
      Known Issues and their solutions
(Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) Unable to upgrade from 10.15.4 to 10.15.5 when using IntelMausiEthernet.kext.  Solution is to switch to IntelMausi.kext (Rev 1.0.2 here). (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) Some USB devices were not recognized. My SSDT-UIAC.aml was incomplete and did not specify all required USB port types (missing SSxx ports). The attached EliteDesk.zip archive includes this fix. (Reported this as a possible Clover issue - no solution yet) Clover boot loader may default to Recovery volume after a normal shutdown.  Work-around is to select your normal macOS volume.  This may only happen when Clover is configured to boot LastBootedVolume and may be "fixable" by explicitly setting a boot volume (haven't tested this). (Watching this - not sure it's a problem) At least one display blanks (sleeps) when plugging / unplugging USB device (observed in front USB 3.1 ports).  Display wakes immediately on keyboard and mouse activity, so this is a minor issue but may be indicative of another issue. (Solved - this is a BIOS setting and requires no macOS changes) Safari has problems loading insanelymac web pages after sleep / wake.  I suspect that the problem is with the embedded video on the pages.  Also observed video problem in AppStore after sleep/wake.  Console: VideoDecodersUnavailable.  Solution is to enable Intel ME in BIOS. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) Display does not fully wake after resuming from sleep (needs an extra mouse or keyboard stimulus to fully wake).  Solution is to change boot arg darkwake=0 to darkwake=2.  Other values of darkwake may work as well, but this is the first I tried and it worked. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) -disablegfxfirmware boot arg is not required with WEG.  I inadvertently left this boot arg after I encountered an endless gfx firmware update boot loop while working on my FB patching.  This boot arg is no longer necessary after completing FB patching with WEG. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive): Sometimes, CMOS time is lost on shutdown or restart.  Solution is to enable Clover's Apple RTC fix in config.plist. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) headphone jack doesn't work.  Solution is to change HDEF layout-id to 28. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) System freezes on wake from sleep because of a kernel panic related to hda-gfx (my system does not have HDMI and my DP->DVI adapters do not drive monitor speakers).  Solution is to add No-hda-gfx property to HDEF as described here.  This property is recognized as a Lilu flag and prevents loading hda-gfx. (Solved and included in the attached EliteDesk.zip archive) Device (PMCR) is not defined.  Solution is a SSDT that "injects" the missing device. (Solved and included in the attached archive) eficheck is loaded (not sure why this is bad, but may be a privacy issue - see here). Solution is to add updated EFICheckDisabler kext that include Q370 chipset.  See here.

I have put together this simple little guide for anybody wanting to use a Patched DSDT EFI with the same configuration as me.
This is also a thread to discuss everything Z390 Master and try and help where we can and maybe make things a little better for you.

A huge massive thank you to @glasgood @MaLd0n @larabee These three guys have helped me and talked me so much and are as helpful as you could ever get, Without them I wouldn't have a perfect working build like I do or be putting up this Guide & Discussion Thread sharing the hard work and countless hours that we have all put in to this.

This EFI and Patched DSDT have been created to work with a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master using bios revision F11c, 9900k with a 5700 XT but has also been tested and verified fully working with the following Hardware

      CPU's
      8600K, 8700, 8700K, 9400K, 9600K, 9700K, 9900K, 9900KS (All KF Models work but use SMBios iMacPro1,1 instead)

      GPU's
      RX 560, 570, 580, 590, Vega 56, Vega 64, Radion VII, RX 5500, 5500 XT, 5600, 5600 XT, 5700, 5700 XT
(If you have success with any different CPU or GPU's then please do let me know)

@glasgood Has kindly put together a new simple Catalina install guide so Just Follow He's Guide For a Perfect Install. (glasgood put the guide together for the Z390 Pro but the two boards are so alike that you can follow this guide with no problems at all using the Z390 Master)

Please Note - I have now set KernelPM to No as standard so if you don’t have a unlocked MSR or not using my MSR Unlocked Bios Profile then go into the Clover Config.plist and set KernelPM to Yes or you won’t be able to boot up. An even better fix would be to unlock your MSR using my profile method.

Note - If your not using a 5700 XT or any other Navi GPU then remove agdpmod=pikera from the boot arguments.

      OpenCore EFI Update v0.5.8 - 04/05/2020
Myself and @texem have now created a OpenCore EFI done the way the OpenCore Devs intended it to be made, There is no DSDT in use so you can use this EFI on any supported GPU and the SSDTs have been made so they will not be used in any other Operating System apart from MacOS.

I have put together this simple little guide for anybody wanting to use a Patched DSDT EFI with the same configuration as me.
This is also a thread to discuss everything Z390 Pro and try and help where we can and maybe make things a little better for you.

This EFI and Patched DSDT have been created to work with a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro, 9900k with a Vega 56 but has also been tested and verified fully working with the following Hardware using Catalina 10.15.4

      CLOVER & OPENCORE EFIs
      Current EFIs Updated 04/05/2020

Clover EFI Update v5115 - 04/05/2020 - Use with Bios revision F12d Only or Replace with the older F11 DSDT if you don't want to update the bios

Clover Z390 Pro Navi Vega EFI 040520.zip - Vega, Navi (5700, 5700XT etc), Radeon VII DSDT EFI
      Clover Z390 Pro Polaris EFI 040520.zip - RX500 Polaris Series (RX590, 580, 570 etc) DSDT EFI

      OpenCore 058 Z390 Pro 1,1 040520.zip  - OpenCore v0.5.8, SMBios iMacPro1,1 (IGPU Disabled)

Note - If your not using a 5700 XT or any other Navi GPU then remove agdpmod=pikera from the boot arguments.

For OpenCore Using PlistEdit Pro add your details by modifying the following

PLEASE NOTE - These EFIs are setup to be used with your msr Unlocked so make sure you use the F11c Unlocked Profile but if for any reason you can not unlock MSR then just modify following in the OpenCore config.plist :

Default USB Setup For All OpenCore EFIs

PLEASE NOTE - Please flash your motherboard bios to revision F12d to use my current Clover EFI. It’s a major rework of the bios and vital changes have been made to the layout and power tables. New DSDTs have been created and installed into the new EFI’s but will not work correctly with any other bios revision.
