This is strictly a MacPro 1'1 Question

I have a MacPro 1'1 - This may not be the best place for this post but I couldn't find a netter one. I am attempting to build an iEl Capitam hacked installer with Tiamo's modified boot.efi. I have successfully built a Mavericks installer, and an El Capitan installer. I boot holding down the opt key and choose the USB key with the installer. Everything seems to work just fine like the installation menu is about to pop up but instead it jumps back and completes the boot every time from the hard drive.

You should use Pike's boot.efi for Yosemite and ElCap, not the Tiamo one. The latter works only with ML and Mavs.

If you've already used the correct one, bless El Capitan volume/system folder.

What year is thus possible? certainly not a 2006 model! perhaps not older than 2009 model?I still have an old baby model 2006 ... Perhaps only MAV possible?

      2 discos duros

      Hola, mi problema es el siguiente Clover ya no me muestra EFI Windows; Tenia todo funcionando bien con High Sierra 10.13.6, quise actualizar a Mojave y como tuve muchos problemas decidí volver a High Sierra con el disco duro USB en el que había hecho una copia con Carbon Copy;
Saludos

Hey there, I was on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 which was working perfectly. But yesterday I decided to update it to 10.14.0 Mojave from app store. I could see both Install macOS from USB as well as macOS main drive and recovery partition even in the reboot during installation but after it finished, it was all gone.
Interestingly, there is a boot entry in UEFI called Mac OS X but clover can't see it.
Another thing I would like to point is that my EFI partition number changed from 9 to 8 after installation.

      Hello

My wife's early 2009 Snow Leopard iMac has started failing to boot properly and I'm looking for some troubleshooting tips.

Booting from cold, it gets past the logon screen and starts loading the desktop. It's quite slow at this point, but does load all the (hundreds of!) icons on the desktop. It also tries to re-open Firefox which had a lot of tabs open. Initially it would load a Firefox window but not complete loading the internals. On one boot I think I managed to close Firefox and now it still tries to load but just displays "Firefox" in the title bar with no windows.

I can initially access a few menus, spotlight, Finder, the dock, but any further action results in a beach ball for these, and they can't be accessed again. I was able to navigate Finder to try to launch Terminal but just it just gave me the beach ball.

I've left it like this for about half an hour but it doesn't get any further and I have to force shutdown (long press of power button).

I tried booting to safe mode (holding down S on startup) but the end result was the same.

I've been able to boot to a live ubuntu USB disk and can access files on the hard disk, so I've started a backup. We have a time machine backup but it's not that recent.

I'm hoping it's just a corrupt file, but suspect it's the hard disk starting to fail.

What's the best way to troubleshoot this?

      Thanks

Not Found  ecc... start_image() returned Not Found).

E' possibile riavviare High-Sierra già installato (partizione APFS), in un qualche modo?
