Are you only having the issue with iTunes? mine gets distorted in VLC as well

EDIT: seems safari is ok as long as i don't use sound flower and audio midi setup to aggregate the sound (which i really need for OBS Studio).

yes, VLC too.

I found a solution: downgrade Clover from 3368 to 3346 . It seems it depends on it !!!

hi there I will most definitely try the new BIOS as soon as I get back and let you know if it solved the problem with multiple UEFI entries or not

F5 BIOS (not beta) does NOT resolve the issue of multiple entries ... sorry to tell you, guys!

The Audio is fixed downgrading Clover to the previous stable version (3346) ... as I posted already. VooDooHDA is certainly a good way too.

Cyberdevs? Any hints for the annoying problem of restart instead of shutdown? It's literally driving me crazy ...

Could it depend on the fact that I have NVMeGenericDriver.kext installed in Clover for my Samsung 950 Pro to boot?

Does anybody knows how I can log the shutdown process?

Can you give me more details about your hardware? Specially your graphic adapter.

You can find all the logs by using console under applications>utilities simply search for shutdown and see the related logs.

It could be more helpful if you can send me your config.plist so I can take a look

I knew it already... but many thanks for confirming. Issue is NOT resolved yet.

So heres a new page I made about it, re-writted everything. It has been passed to Gigabyte representative,

Give the config.plist I posted in the first page a try but just remember to reconfigure it for your hardware I believe it's configured for nVidia graphics adapters, you might also need to edit your memory information under smbios. or just simply study my config plist and see the differences.

My first assumption is that you need to change some of the settings specially under Kernel and Kext Patches check AppleRTC and AsusAICPUPM and see how it works out.

if the problem is solved; // then it's ok

else;

if the problem is still there; // then let me know

dreamcat4,

If you could get the gigabyte guys to solve the problem with the current EFI problem, all the Hackintosh community will be in your debt! :)

Great job man!

I was able to update to 10.11.4. Afterwards I had to set nv_disable=1, install updated nvidia drivers and change my board ID in AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext/Contents/Info.plist to none (previously this was not necessary due to a patch that was posted on this thread a while back).

Has anyone tried a fresh install of 10.11.4?

I'm trying but unable to reach installer.

I have a 6700k, gaming 5, gtx 960, BIOS f5.

Have previously installed and had running perfectly 10.11.3

Exactly my problem. Though I do have an ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming board...

I had a perfectly running 10.11.3 and decided to fresh install 10.11.4 - can get to the installer, though no kernel panics...

Fresh install 10.11.4

Create install media for new 10.11.4 installer downloaded from app store.

Install clover bootloader to the USB for UEFI booting ( + optional ) which ever options you need for your system.

Replace clover folder with existing clover folder from 10.11.x ( I had to add OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi to boot already had OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi )

I booted with nv_disable=1 and without caches to get to the installer without this option i would get a KP and reboot

The rest follows as per usual with installing clover to SSD and replacing folder with what is on the USB, VoodooHDA 2.8.8-V3 and modifying AppleGraphicsControl.kext for graphics after installing WebDriver-346.03.06f0.

I am now running a fresh install of OSX 10.11.4.

Any other info just ask.

Intel Core i7-6700k ( Liquid cooled )

Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 ( Bios F5 dated 2016/03/10 )

Nvidia GTX 960 4Gb

8Gb DDR4 Ram

Kingston Hyper X Savage SSD ( OS )

WD 1Tb Spinner ( Storage )

Quick question should i use hwsensor or hwsensor3? it seems like its impossible to figure out what the diff is and which one would work best with my setup.

reason I'm looking into it, can't see gpu and cpu fan speeds under hwmonitor 6.19.1406 so i started tracking down the github project and things started escalating from there ;)

Check your FakeSMC.kext and see if it has the following sensors under the plugins folder:

ACPISensors.kext

CPUSensors.kext

GPUSensors.kext

LPCSensors.kext

Rehabman's version works fine.

have all those plugins in my fakesmc ahh well, not like i 'really' need to monitor those, only cosmetics ;)

This is the version of my HWMonitor and it's working ok with some minor setbacks Version 6.18-313-g671f31c.1707

As you can see there is no GPU Die or Thermal sensor.

I don't use the HWMinotor that much but sometimes it comes handy when need be.

Tried to see if i could install from Pandora's box, omg im never touching that again, had 5 hours of trying to get macos working again, it started to halt at ACPI, had to jump through my thumb drive to remove the fakesmc.kext it had installed in /S/L/E instead of /L/E which i can access from windows. SO i think i will just leave my WORKING system alone! :)

EDIT: especially considering the things i actually need from HWSensor is the GPU temp/core speed and mem speed, which are working..

      Hi!

I have everything working on my Acer notebook, except FN + Brightness keys using VoodoPS2Controller.kext

Now the brightness keys are "Pause+Break = Brightness Up" and "Fn+F12 = Brightness Down" working right now but they are not the actual keys.
The actual brightness keys are "Fn+RightArrow = Brightness Up" and "Fn+LeftArrow = Brightness Down" but they are not working.
The problem is I don't know the codes.
Installed ioio and enabled debugging to console:
Pause/Break is generating: "ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key e045=71" which upper the brightness
Fn+F12 is generating: "ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key 46=6b" which lower the brightness
      Fn+RightArrow/LeftArrow generates nothing.
      Keyboard attached to PS2K
Then I used rehabman's guide to enable ACPIDebugging, Installed kext to L/E, Debug methods (Instrument EC Queries, Add DSDT Debug Methods) to DSDT, but there are no codes generated to the log.

      Attaching debug folder.
Also I don't know if it will help, but on Linux I got a code from decreasing/rising brightness with Fn+Left/RightArrow keys:
      Fn+RightArrow: "0xe0 0x54 0xe0 0xd4"
      Fn+Left: "0xe0 0x4c 0xe0 0xcc"

Also I love using EMlyDinEsH's SmartTouchpad Driver, with that all of my Fn keys are working except Brigtness keys ofc. If there are any fix I would like to use that with the smarttouchpad driver.
      EMlyDinEsH's SmartTouchpad Driver: https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/1948-elan-focaltech-and-synaptics-smart-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/

      Specs in my signature.
Please help me fix this very last issue on my acer.

Lenovo T460 macOS with Clover Guide
Latest Release on GitHub (April 2019) Updated to Clover r4918 Updated Lilu kexts - ALC, WEG Merged Verleihnix' config.plist - especially to NOT inject GFX Updated BacklightInjector as option to WEG.
Various Tweaks over Last months The zip file is a complete Clover ESP (/EFI) bundle and kext pack for the Lenovo T460. The current file bundle is tested on Sierra.
Note: I never got the GFX fully working on El Capitan.
Full Clover file set - config.plist etc. Includes all custom kexts Includes custom DSDT/SSDT scripts and patches Utility scripts The zip bundles are posted to GitHub: https://github.com/tluck/Lenovo-T460-Clover/releases
Caveat: The T460 systems used here was configured with: i5-6300U, Intel HD Graphics 520, 1920x1080 touch screen. If you have a different system model, then extract the ACPI files and use the included scripts to create a set of files consistent with your system type and BIOS version. See below for details.
Credits: RehabMan, Shmilee, vusun123, TimeWalker, Mieze from which, much of their work and help is/was was used to get the T460 to this point.
      Devices and aspects working:
Ethernet -  Intel I219LM is enabled via IntelMausiEthernext.kext WiFi/BT - substitute the Intel WiFi/BT with a compatible Broadcom or Atheros chip Audio - ALC293 codec implemented via AppleALC.kext (old AppleHDA_ALC293 and CodecCommander kexts are not needed) PS2 - ClickPad + TrackPoint + all 3 buttons - using a modified VoodooPS2Controller to support new layouts - and added some custom Fn key maps based on 440/450 dsdt USB - implemented via custom SSDT + USBInjectAll kext. All USB3/USB2 ports are intel-based and work -  3 external USB and internal Camera, BT, etc  Sleep/Wake - the sleepwatcher package and custom sleep/wake scripts are used to help with sleep/wake for BT and PS2 devices. Note: have not tried to implement the SD card reader - no driver found.

I'm trying to install High Sierra 10.13.3 on an ASUS N552VW laptop, and I get stuck after this message:
"could not recover SATA HDD after 5 attempts, terminating"
      And some other warnings afterwards.
      Specs:
      CPU: Intel Skylake 6700HQ 2.6GHz
      RAM: 16GB DDR4
      2TB HDD + 128GB SSD
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530 + Nvidia GTX960m
I'm installing using a 16GB USB3 flash drive on one of HDD volumes (UEFI Mode)

I uploaded the verbose log and clover config.plist
