helgansven
Hello everyone. I am able to install 10.4.7 in a virtual machine no problem (although it runs very slow). But when I try to install on a separate partition on my hard drive, I always get the error message that it wants me to restart the computer. The same error happens on my desktop and laptop machines. When I install to a VM I use an ISO image as the installation source, but have burned the ISO to DVD for the installation onto the hard drive. I have tried burning the DVD at the slowest speed setting to eliminate that as a problem. I think the problem has to do with the DVDs that I am using. I am using the Kodak DVD-R media. Do any of you have a preference for DVD make for doing this type of burning? Or is there a way to install from the ISO image without buring to a DVD first?
