Osetjka Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 Hi all. I've finished installing 10.4.7 JaS on an 0xAF partition (used the id=af cmd). Restarted but cannot find the "Unknown OS" on AOSS, only Windows XP. Tried booting with the install DVD to set the startup disk, and I found the 10.4.7 JaS, but when I selected it and reset, I boot back to XP :S. Tried reading the forum and the chain0 method but no luck. No matter what I choose it all leads back to XP. Also, after the install I notice that the allocated space for Mac isn't a recognizable drive in Windows (some unknown with 0xAF). Running out of ideas here... Any help appreciated. Bachonga Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 For me, i went into XP, DISABLE AOSS and restart back in windows after reboot, open disk director and set the Mac drive active.
