Hi guys,

Just a quick message to let you know that I have many personnal stuff to workaround at the moment and I should be able to come back to help you and add more info to this guide within about a week or so. I also plan to make at least 2 other guides for 2 additionnal hackintosh setups.

For those trying to install Yosemite with Clover, I'd try the same version that Rockey12 said is using (2 replies before this one), as the recent versions seem to be somehow problematic with our Workstations (at least with my Z400).

See you soon.

Hi!

Anybody have dsdt.yml for HP Z800?

Here is the one I am using the naming reflects all the changes made, I have version 3.57 of the BIOS installed on a generation three board you would want similar to use this file.

DSDT-lpc-esb2_sata_audio_layout_id1_sbusMP5,1_serialized_usb-wak_no-fdc-com-lpt-ecp-kbd-ps2m_timr_dmac_pwrb-cid.aml.zip

Hi, i was in the process of installing Yosemite in a Z600, i had an usb installer made it with #####, i had to put LegacyAppleAHCIPortIntelICHx.kext in the usb to see the drives.

I ended the installation with Chameleon wizard to install Chamaleon and edit extra files and KextWizard to install five kext mentioned in the first post of Chatdeau.

I had problems with USBs (do not work at all and solved deleting AppleHPET.kext from extension folder.

Chatdeau i have lspci-nnvv_output and dsdt extracted with Chameleon wizard but i don´t knot how to upload from here, How can i send them to you?

In days i will be doing the same with a Z400, do you need something from it?

Edit to attach files (i was using reduced editor  :( )

REMARK This dsdt is direct from ChameleonWizard not touched

Z600 lspci.zip

Ok Rockey12, i edited my post to attach files, i was using the reduced editor not full one.

I don´t want help right now, my system is ready, only i mention Tonymac because i was in middle of the process and the usb installer was running perfect so i did not redo it. I think TonyMac installer do not put anything on the drive until you modified with the magical tool, or  am i wrong??

You are correct the installer is nothing but that an installer which in the long run is all that matters something to get the files needed onto the box, if you do not use any others tools from there you have done the same as if you did an installer method from here.

Hello again,

I just finished the Z400 installation

Same method:

Install Yosemite with an installer, i my case Tonymac installer with LegacyAppleAHCIPortIntelICHx.kext load with kexwizard.

Install Chameleon with chameleon wizard, I mounted in the Z600 only Yosemite and in the Z400 Yosemite and Windows7, so select installation method Boot0 in Z600 and Boot0hfs in Z400

Configure org.chameleon.Boot.plist  with ChameleonWizard  with this items checked:

Gui

Legacy Logo

Use Kernel Cache

Ethernet Built

Restart Fix

Private Cata

Generate P-State

Generate C-State

HDA Enabler

HDEF LauoutID 01000

kext-dev-mode=1

Instal five kext shown in first post of  Chatdeau with kexwizard

AHCIPortInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979

FakeSMC_v6.16.1372_netkas

IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979

NullCPUPowerManagement_v1.0.0d2_tgwbd

VoodooHDA_v2.87

Delete AppleHPET.kext of System/Library/Extensions to activate USB ports

I use two Graphic Cards GT640 (GraphicEnabler=No) GT210 (GraphicEnabler=Yes) in Chameleonwizard

In Z600 i use a SSD disk so i activate Trim with the terminal instruction easy to find

Both systems seem to run perfect

Can I change anything to get more clean installations?

I've been trying to get the clover bootloader to work on my z400 with a Intel Xeon W3540 and EVA GTX980 runng yosemite.  It runs beautifully with Chimera, but no iMessage is driving me insane.  After I load the clover boot loader and select my OSX install, it just goes to a black screen.  I've tried every nvidia argument and still no dice.  I tried doing a new install and I get a kernel panic like the one in the screen shot that was posted earlier.  Any help would be great.

The GTX980 only works with Nvidia WebDriver. Do the installation with smaller graphics card (GT210 or other). After WebDriver and GTX980.

To better Clover, then also working iMessage, no problem.
not Tony Tools !!!

Hello I am new to the forum and hackitosh world. I have an HP Z400 Intel ® Xeon ® CPU @ 3.07GHz W3550 and NVIDIA Quadro 2000 rev. BIOS installed 03.57

I've been very frustrated days and proving proving several distributions always getting the same error. Sure it's my inexperience. I have 2 computers with Mac Yosemite at home so I can create bootable usb without problem. With the evidence; I have made the installation of yosemite usb no problem .. but I have the first problem in the No.4 step. with that statement does not make any achievement validates location.

In step No. 3 manually created the S / L / Extensions folder (since it did not appear in the newly installed yosemite usb) I copy inside:

ACHIPortInyector .... IOACHIBLOCKSTORAGE .... FAKESMC ... NULL POWER.

In step nº5 try to create the folder but it says I do not have permits.

I have a number of doubts in chameleon wizard .. .. USB boot.

I active the following:

GUI

LEGACY LOGO

USE KERNEL CACHE

BUILT IN ETHERNEL

FIX RESTART

PRIVATE DATA

GENERATE P-STATES

GENERATE C-STATES

HDA ENABLER

HDEF ID 01000

GRAFICS ENABLER

kext-dev-mode = 1

I have doubts DSDT.aml? and SMBios.plist

I downloaded the file dsdt-27.aml dsl and the corresponding zip file. where I place?

My question is where I get the SMBios ??

I have to turn in

someone can tell me I'm wrong? I succeed load or window installation

Sorry advance doubts and my level of English as a translator and not use it for errors. THANKS

hello I've managed to install HP z400 yosemite 10.10.5 with nvidia quadro 2000.

once the main installation had to start with the following flags.
PCIRootUID = 0
GraphicsEnabler = Yes
Nv_disable = 1
I could make the next phase of the installation running more or less all right. bluetooth included .. but I have a little problem with the nvidia. If I reboot without any flag does not work .. I only get started with: nv_disable .. and the system to boot and it works fine .. but NVIDIA has a very slow refresh .. anyone knows what can happen? I show my content boot.plist

I have or "had" rather a complete install of osx Yosemite 10.9.5. on a HP Z800. I say "had" because for some reason I'm getting the black screen with mouse cursor unless I use the "nv_disable=1" flag. in which then I pretty much have no graphics acceleration. I installed pretty much using the basic method (base system dmg then copy the package files and install Enoch bootloader) with only using "kext-dev-mode=1 and UseKernelCache=No, GraphicsEnabler=Yes". also deleted "AppleHPET.KEXT". everything went fine first boot, had full resolution and everything work OOB except for the audio in which I just installed voodoohda. bam sound working. I reboot because I installed a program that required and now no more desktop. I also forgot to add I also used the 4 kext listed in this thread to get the installer to see my hard drives using SATA instead of SAS. I used SAS once also for an install and I just rolled back to the Fusion kext from 10.9.1. I have no idea what made it stop working. I have a complete dsdt compiled with no warnings or errors, I have the ssdt, and also using the mac pro 4,1 smbios. dsdt compiles without any errors. ill attach the dsdt I'm using in case it may be useful. And if necessary I can give info on the DSDT edits. I used no patches at all.

SPECS:

2X Xeon e5520 (8 physical cores 16 logical)

8 gigs FB ECC ram

2nd revision motherboard with 3.57 bios

4 hard drives via SATA no RAID with their own OS (using OSX hard drive as bootloader)

Dlink DWA-556 extreme wifi card

NVidia Quadro fx1800 graphics card with LG ultrawide LCD as monitor (29um57)

That black screen with the cursor is usually a result of the loginwindow.plist file having an issue. go into the /library/preferences and remove the com.apple.loginwindow.plist file and restart. that will allow it to rebuild and should fix the issue. this is an issue I have seen on a real mac before and this fixes it nearly every time.

Cheers,

      App alternative:
      dal menù a tendina scegliete la relative impostazioni
      Immagine
      Procedura effettua da High Sierra è la stessa della precedente, l'unica attenzione e operazione da aggiungere in primis  è cliccare nel menù a tendina in alto sulla sinistra di utility disco e selezionare "mostra tutti i dispositivi"
      Immagine

      =====================
        METODO 1: "Install_Mac_OS_X.Command" Lo script che trovate allegato in fondo alla guida permette la creazione dell’installer in maniera automatica
      Include la possibilità di scelta di tre versioni di osx
      Yosemite El Capitan Sierra Il risultato finale è come quello del metodo "manuale" descritto nella guida, per cui l'installazione avverrà in un solo passaggio, non in due come con il metodo createinstallmedia.
      Offre inoltre la possibilità di inserire un kernel patchato, utile, per esempio, per chi usa AMD.
      Rimane invariato il nome dato alla usb in USB, mappa partizione e tipo di formattazione
      Se la vostra usb non sarà rinominata nel modo corretto, verrete avvisati dal terminale, quindi non dovrete far altro che apportare la relativa modifica e rilanciare nuovamente lo script
      Esempio
      ===========================
      Metodo 2
      L'intento è quello di usare la procedura fornitaci direttamente da Apple, "createinstallmedia", introdotta  con Mavericks.
      Tale metodo prevede l’uso del terminale che via via se ne sta perdendo il “valore e l’uso”
      Inizialmente per i neofiti potrà sembrare problematico ma alla fine non è così.
      Durante il post installazione alcune operazioni ne richiedono l’ uso.
      Perciò mi sono chiesto perchè, qualora uno volesse, non far conoscere da subito un po’ questo “strumento”???
      Per favorirvi vi ho allegato i comandi già  “pronti”, i quali li potrete copiare ed incollare sul terminale.
      A questo punto aprite il terminale, copiate ed incollate il comando sottostante e premete invio, digitate la vostra password e premete nuovamente invio.
      Comando per creare USB con Yosemite:
      sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --nointeraction
      Comando per creare USB con El Capitan
      sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction Comando per creare USB con Sierra
      sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/ --nointeraction Per creare USB con Hight Sierra o Mojave usate --> C_I_M (aggiornato per 10.14)

      Funziona con il drag & drop sul terminale, in questo caso non vi è necessità che la usb sia nominata in un determinato modo ed essendo basato su create install media ovviamente funziona da 10.9 a 10.14....
      BENE…IL PROCESSO DI CREAZIONE E’ INIZIATO…
      AVREMO CIRCA 20/30 MINUTI DI TEMPO LIBERO A CUI DEDICARSI A CIO’ CHE VOGLIAMO………………………………………..
      COLGO L’OCCASIONE PER FARVI NOTARE LA VELOCITA’ E LA SICUREZZA DI QUESTO METODO
      CONFRONTATE QUESTO CON IL TERZO METODO E NOTERETE CHE CON UN SOLO PASSAGGIO, OSSIA IL COMANDO DATO AL TERMINALE, FACCIAMO IN UNA SINGOLA OPERAZIONE TUTTI I VARI STEP DESCRITTI SULL’ ALTRO METODO.
      DETTO QUESTO, MOLTO IMPORTANTE E’ SOTTOLINEARE CHE COSI’ FACENDO EVITEREMO ERRORI  DI DISTRAZIONE RIGUARDO AI PASSAGGI O FRAINTENDIMENTI.
      Immagine
      Potete adesso passare ad installare il bootloader Clover sulla vostra usb.
      *NOTA*:
      Avendo usato questo metodo l'installazione si dividerà in due fasi, perciò dopo il primo riavvio e necessario far partire nuovamente l'installer, selezionare lo stesso disco senza formattarlo.
      Finita questa ulteriore fase , l'installazione sarà terminata
      =========================
      METODO "MANUALE"....  (lascio per futura memoria-Compatibile fino a 10.12)
      ==========================
      Bootloader
      **Nota:** Installazione in UEFI  dipenderà dalla scheda madre in vostro possesso, quindi se non supporta tale opzione , il bootloader dovrà essere installato in  modalità Legacy.
       Vi invito, qualora non sapeste questa informazione, a recarvi nel sito ufficiale del produttore e controllare le informazioni a riguardo
      Fatto questo dobbiamo installare  Clover sulla usb.
      A seconda del tipo di Bios o al tipo di installazione che vogliamo fare UEFI o Legacy avremo ovviamente configurazioni diverse in questa fase.
      Lanciate il pkg.
      Immagine

      Cambiate la destinazione di installazione ad USB oppure Install Mac_OS_X (a secondo del tipo di creazione eseguita)
      Successivamente clicchiamo su "Ad Hoc"
      Per Installazione UEFI
      Mettete i flag   : Installazione solo per avvio UEFI
                               : installare Clover nella ESP
                               : Driver64UEFI  AptioMemory --> (consigliato)
                               : Driver64UEFI  ApfsDriverLoader --> (consigliato) --> sostituisce l'uso del driver apfs.efi
                               : Selezionate l'altri driver come da successiva immagine,

      *Nota: Altri driver che si possono usare  al suo posto  sono:

      ===========================
      Impostazione per config.plist:
      Con clover configurator “montate” la partizione EFI della usb.
      1) Per fare questo nel menù di sinistra, cliccate su “Mount EFI”
      2) individuate la partizione relativa alla vostra usb, a questo punto montiamo la relativa partizione EFI  selezionando l’apposito pulsante “Mount Partition”
      Immagine
      3) Successivamente cliccate su “Open Partition”.. recatevi in EFI/Clover ed aprite il config.plist
      4) Sezione ACPI: Disabilitate tutti i fix sia del menù 1 che del menù 2
      Immagine
      5) Sezione BOOT: Sole se si sta installando Yosemite mettete il flag su kext-dev-mode=1
      Immagine
      6) Sezione RT Variables: Se si sta installando El Capitan oppure Sierra, aggiungere i valori: BooterConfig= 0x28, CsrActiveConfig= 0x67
      Immagine
      7) Sezione System Parameters: Su inject kext mettete YES
      Immagine
      ===========================
      Nota: Su El Capitan, è stato introdotto SIP (System Integrity Protection)
      Info:
      ===========================
      Recatevi in EFI/Clover/kext/10.x
      X= alla versione di osx che state installando. Per esempio se installerete Yosemite dovrete recarvi nella cartella 10.10, con El Capitan in 10.11….ecc
      Se non ci fosse tale cartella, createla e nominatela voi a “modo”.
      Copiatevi all’interno FakeSmc.kext
      *Nota se venite già da altre vostre configurazioni, oltre kext sopra citato ,potete mettere gli altri necessari per il vostro hardware
      Stessa cosa se avete DSDT e/o SSDT potete copiarli in EFI/Clover/Acpi/Patched

      Per High Sierra:
      Scaricare il driver apfs.efi a fine guida, collocarlo:
          --> EFI/clover/Driver64UEFI se stiamo usando UEFI
      --> EFI/Clover/Driver64 se stiamo usando Legacy

      Per chi volesse continuare ad usare HFS vi rimando a questo post:
        Come installare High Sierra in HFS direttamente dalla usb
      Utenti Laptop:  Nel 99% è obbligatorio disattivare la grafica discreta Nvidia/Amd per installare questo nuovo osx
                                     Quindi aggiungete --> SSDT-Disable_DGPU.aml.zip
                                     in EFI/Clover/acpi/Patched della usb
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
      Per Mojave:
      Scaricare il driver apfs.efi per 10.14 a fine guida, collocarlo:
          --> EFI/clover/Driver64UEFI se stiamo usando UEFI
      --> EFI/Clover/Driver64 se stiamo usando Legacy
      Versione di clover non antecedente a V_4015
      Volete usare HFS?
      E' possibile fare un installazione diretta su altro disco o partizione, nel caso può essere usato anche per effettuare aggiornamenti...
      nel caso guardate...
       Mojave in HFS
       Oppure direttamente da usb

      Fatto questo avrete la vostra USB bootable per installare OSX.
      ………Non scordatevi Fakesmc.kext da mettere nella relativa cartella…. senza il quale non farete mai il Boot......
      *NOTA: se usato il terminale per la creazione della usb, l'installazione si dividerà in due fasi, perciò dopo il primo riavvio e necessario far partire nuovamente l'installer, selezionare lo stesso disco senza formattarlo.
      Finita questa ulteriore fase , l'installazione sarà terminata
      **NOTA** Se avete processori Broadwell,Skylake o Kabylake...usate FakeSmc.kext e relativi sensors che trovate all'interno del secondo pacchetto.. (potete usarlo anche sui precedenti senza problemi, essendo una versione più aggiornata ha ulteriore supporto per le cpu più recenti)
      Update: Fakesmc e sensors versione 6.26
      Post installazione... post #2
       Buon Hack…..
      Aggiornamento:Install_Mac_OS_X.command.zip (compatibile da 10.10 a 10.12)
      le info le trovate a questo post

      I had a working Mojave installation on my HP Z400 with clover and from a VMware image.  (Because i had a Nvidia 8800GT with no Metal support.) I found a cheap AMD RX 570 card on the local market.
      So i did a reinstall with a clean Mojave version from de App Store. Before the new card everything worked fijne exept the video card.
      (My Englisch is not great sorry!)

      The hardware:
      HP Z400 Motherboard in standard ATX case.  (Some powercable and other hacks needed.) Xeon W3520 (4 cores  2,67Ghz) 6x 2GB DDR3 non ECC Sapphire Radeon RX 570 4G Nitro+ SATA Harddisk BIOS version 03.61 (last)
      BIOS Settings:
      File\Default Setup
      Restore Factory Settings as Default (You may get some new options) Apply Defaults and Exit (Reboot) Storage\Storage Options
      Legacy Diskette - Write Disable Sata Emulation - RAID+AHCI Security\Device Security
      legacy Diskette - Device hidden Embedded Security - Device Device hidden Power\Hardware Power Management
      Everyting - Enable Advanced\Processors
      Hyper-Threading – Enable
      Install disk:
      Download the complete Mojeva Install App from de Appstor Make a install USB stick use the Terminal app and command
      “sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB -- /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app”
      Where USB is te name of the USB stick Install Clover v2.4k r4844
      Change Install Location and choose  “Install macOS Mojave”
      Customize Select:
      Install clover in the ESP Boot Sectors\Install boot0af in MBR Clover for Bios(legacy) booting\ Clover EFI 64-Bits SATA BIOS Drivers, 64 Bit\ApfsDriverLoader-64     (For Apfs in Clover) Everything else unchanged Install
      Open Clover Configurator
      And open config.plist from the EFI on the USB stick
      Select:
      Boot\Arguments   dart=0 Graphics - RadeonDeInit Kernel and Kext Patches   DellSMBIOSPatch SMBIOS Choose Mac Pro 5.1 Save

      Kexts:
      And place those kexts in Clover\kexts\Other (Zie Attachments)
      FakeSMC.kext (Mandatory) AHCIPortInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979.kext (SATA) IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979.kext (Fix SATA) NullCPUPowerManagement_v1.0.0d2_tgwbd.kext (Support CPU) VoodooHDA_v2.87.kext (Sound)
      And install disk is ready
      .
      My install was Mojave 10.14.2 and with succes updated to 10.14.3

      Everything is working great de only problem i have found is Mojave sees 7 memory slots and there are 6 slots in the system.
      When i define te memory slots in Clover the problem is solved see the image.

      Hi

      I am trying to create a clean DSDT for my new hackintosh.  It is all working very well and I hope this will make things even better.
      I have a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER,
      I9-9900K
      32 gb Ram
      gigabyte vega 64 OC

      I extracted the DSDT and SSDT files using F4 in Clover.  I have supplied the resulting DSDT below.  THese are the four errors I get when trying to compile in MACIasl.  ALso I am using ACPI 5.1 in maciasl.

      12891, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_NAMESEG, expecting '('
      12900, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_CASE
      12904, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_NAMESEG, expecting '('
      12913, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_CASE, expecting $end and premature End-Of-File

      I am newbie to hackintosh so am learning as much as I can as i go.  I am not a programmer so the syntax errors I am not sure what to do with yet.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

      Thanks
