NoMadMan
Got it from Yahoo last night and Installed it over RC1. it will uninstall current version, reboot, install final version, reboot. If you still have RC1 after upgrade, you need to uninstall RC1 from command line.
suleiman
To those of us who design websites this comes as a *huge* sigh of relief. Finally we can tell users running Internet Exploder to just "upgrade their copy" to get proper CSS rendering of the website. Of course, thanks to Windows Genuine Advantage we can count on that definitely not being the majority.
sadiekiller
I would love to upgrade, but it wont let me. I have a valid XP and all. I shut down every single internet protection i have, and unplugged the dsl modem to be safe. no luck. i followed the entire troubleshooting website, no luck. I think my OS resents its maker... trav1085
Oh, you mean the final version, not betas or RCs anymore? Otherwise I'm downloading this asap!
rollcage
Oh, you mean the final version, not betas or RCs anymore? Otherwise I'm downloading this asap! yes, this is the final version, better get downloading... i think it's faster in startup and the rendering of pages than rc1 was. still not as good as FF or opera, but not bad in general. the tabs still need some more work, not nearly as fast at loading pages as FF, but the phishing filter is sorta nice (although i have no use for it). BlackShadowWolf
I couldnt get it to work very well. After I installed it my whole system slowed down, it could barely load any web pages, in any browser . So I did my weekly shred the harddrive to remove all traces of it, guess its back to IE6 and Firefox .
