fear_bot
I've used a modded BIOS to get around the whitelist in my Thinkpad (lower model than yours), tossed a secondary Apple Atheros into my free WAN mini-pci port. Works best when swapping around OSes. If I could get version information about your currently installed BIOS, I'll try and help out my best sourcing one for you. I haven't tried Yosemite yet (other than on my actual Mac), so I wouldn't know how to help you there. Even my Thinkpad had trouble trying to install Yose, so I went with Mavericks until I had time to try and sort it out. Did a little bit of searching up, seems BIOs on the T430 can only be flashed via hardware flashing. Meaning a tear down and tools to reprogram the chip are needed. I don't know if you have tried yet, but with the wireless card you're trying to install, tape over pin 20 and see if it causes the system to halt on boot or not. Works on some Lenovo models.
