Dave Hedgehog
I have a DVB-S (Satellite TV) PCI card whose software and driver is Windows only. If I run Windows XP in parallels, will it recognise the card and support it (once I load the drivers) OR is the virtualization simply not going to see actual hardware? I know they have USB support for devices but I cannot see any info on PCI support. I hate the idea of having a separate windows PC dedicated to running just that one piece of software. I know there are TV solutions on the Mac (e.g. EyeTV and iTele for example) but sadly they don't support what I need. Any info greatly appreciated. I'd especially like to hear from someone who has a PCI card supported under Windows XP in Parallels (if it is possible). Proteo
It won't work. Parallels actually kind of emulates the hardware accessible to the guest OS, so no chance to it to "see" your PCI card.
