dj_myk Posted October 14, 2006 Share Posted October 14, 2006 Hey guys i have finally got mac osx installed onto my Small form factor PC. Turns out that the Celeron D 3.2 GHZ processor is not compatable, so fired in a Pentium 4 3 GHz and it's working. However I am having some Graphics issues. I have the card below ATI Power Colour Radeon X300 SE When I boot into mac osx, i get display but it's slow and when i open and close windows it leaves shaddow blocks on the screen. Also I can't change the resolution for 1024*768. However when I use the on board card i can change the resolution and I don't get the shaddow block effect on the screen. It also means that I have to switch my video cards over in teh BIOS before booting which is a pain in the ass. Is there any way I can get the ati card to work??? Also on another note is there a way to edit or add folders to a windows FAT32 or NTFS drive from mac osx. also forgot to mention I have 10.4.6 installed Cheers Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your Windows partition should be available in OSX. It's icon should appear on the Desktop. If you have that feature turned off, just open a Finder window (click the Finder icon on the left of the Dock). In the top pane at the left, you should see your Windows partition. macprodan Posted October 15, 2006 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Disabling beamsync speeds things up a lot for me. as for resolution change can either be done with callisto driver on the fly or via editing com.apple.boot.plist. all the info you need is in my sig.
