fantomas
Apple offers to developers the first Golden Master of OS X Yosemite. Remember that the Golden Master means that the development of OS X Yosemite is completed but despite this, it remains to Apple to finalize the development of different software and features that accompany it, hence it's called "Candidate 1.0". But it's not the first time, Apple already did it with OS X Mavericks. This GM can be downloaded via App Store Click here to view the article

Allan
Both versions of Yosemite include an update to Bash shell, versioned as 3.2.53(1), to address the Shellshock flaw.
Phil511
I update through App store from DP 8 to GM 1, re-started without any issue whatsoever. It is a pleasant surprise as I anticipate some hiccups. This is on my laptop because my desktop being older MB X58 chipset is still on Mavericks. luki1979
I'm about to fresh install GM2 with clover. do I need kext-dev-mode=1?
Allan
kext-dev-mode=1 is necessary until DPs and Betas versions, because if you don't use this flag, the kexts are installed in S/L/E don't load. But, in GM. i don't know. Just try.
luki1979
aha thanks. I can't install with Clover as it ignores all I do in config file before and start me as iMac and no boot flags, kexts etc as edited in Clover Configurator. I will try with Chameleon instead tomorrow.
