I have to choose from 650 or 750gtx. Is any of these 2 cards compatible out of the box, full runing on macosx? Gringo Vermelho Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 750 GTX is Maxwell architecture, I don't think that's supported yet. The 650 will work but it's not very fast. There is no way that it will work on 10.8.5 though... sorry, Kepler cards started working in 10.8.3. I know 750gtx is much better, but it seems that is no way to make it work in macosx. I have a GTX 660 working perfectly in 10.9.3. It's the vanilla version from EVGA. I haven't done anything to make it work, it just does. I believe a little extra work is required if you need HDMI audio. I'm sure there's a 7xx card available at a better value for money ratio by now. If anyone can help get better resoultion than 1024 * 768 with workaround or something, please let me know!Thanks!
