Amir M Posted October 8, 2006 Share Posted October 8, 2006 I have installed Mac OSx in the native dual boot way on my IBM R52 Laptop; everthing work fine with the installation, after it finished it restart my computer and boot into mac osx (crazy lines on screen) and it's stops after writting - BSD root 0disk1 (someting like that) DVD Image : Mac OSx86 10.4.5 universal intel amd sse2 sse3 My laptop : ThinkPad R52 1858-69G Original description: P M 740(1.7GHz), 512MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 15in 1024x768 LCD, Intel 900, 24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11bg wireless(MPCI), Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, IEEE 1394, 6 cell Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro any ideas? During the installation, when you get to the window where you are to click the Install button, you must first click the Customize button and choose packages for your computer. Click the little arrow next to the patches category to reveal the individual packages. Select Intel or AMD packages, not both. Select SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon the capability of your processor. Select the Combo Update to get the latest version of OSX.
