Can you run without VM?

Its pretty clear that you have to install with VM and Pear, but its not clear whether then if there is a way to take your virtual install and move it to a real hard drive to boot independant of the support emulation.

 

Once its installed, is there a way to run it without the emulation or do you have to run it always through VM?

From what i've seen on other websites and such, you can turn on your pc, it load up in Mac, and that is that. You turn it on, and there it is. Nothing else. I dont know much about it, however. And im trying to get everything figured out so I can attempt this.
