One user from this forum (Demonbane) helped me patching a DSDT to disable Nvidia and includes SSDT for my Intel HD4400.

He said he has lot of troubles working with this version and was not sure if everything is okay.

I have installed here and the video works fine with Chameleon (no need to IntelAzulFB) and the nvidia seems to be disabled (the battery lasts 4 hours in osx against 6 in Windows 8).

The problems I'm facing is the brightness that was not working (I have previously tested with a random DSDT from Dell 7537 and it worked) and the fact that the system doesn't shutdown/reset/sleep/wake.

Can anyone help get all the remaining patches to work? How can I test if 750m is really disabled?

Here are the patched *.dsl files. You have to open and compile them to *.aml, rename ssdt to ssdt.aml, ssdt-1.aml, ssdt-2.aml... to load. If you already have ssdt.aml, then start from ssdt-1.aml.

Here are some tips for you, install these:

- ACPIBatteryManager

- ACPIBacklight

- GenericUSBXHCI (even when you've got USB 3.0 native)

Disable hibernate, then add -gux_defer_usb2 to boot flag, it may fix your sleep.
