immersive
Hi guys, I'm looking to install mavericks on to my PC. I don't know if my motherboard is compatible or not, so if you guys could suggest what I do to install mavericks that would be awesome, because I've tried before with just -v -x boot flags, no modded BIOS or anything. My Build: i5 3570k Asus P8H61-MX USB3 16GB Corsair XMS 3 and I'm using the HD 4000. iFIRE
yes, you can install, set your bios to legacy bios, no UEFI. boot with -f -x -v GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296027-asus-hackintosh/#findComment-1993539 Share on other sites

Hey again, I've got it installed. But when I use appleintelcpupowermanagement.kext it just give me a kernel panic. Is there any way I can use speed step with this? Also is the hd4000 supported out of the box? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296027-asus-hackintosh/#findComment-1993743 Share on other sites

Pimentel
Hello Did you set your mobo to legacy_boot mode? Only NullCPUPM work in installation, after install you can adjust power management to work with AICPUPM(without Null...) Also after install you can enable HD4000, iFire gave to you the guide... but only after install... I think isn't necessary patch AICPUPM now, because you're using NullCPUPM and AICPUPM is disabled, so... only is necessary patch AICPUPM after install OSX and begin use it to get full PM.
